SHINee’s Minho has just released his teaser image for his group’s upcoming Japanese single, Dazzling Girl.

Minho’s teaser is the third one to be released, coming after members Taemin and Key. Minho is seen wearing a black fedora on his head and wears a sleeveless black shirt, adorned with a necklace around his neck. Though he may be simplistic next to Taemin, who debuted a new and mature look, and Key, who had a fox wrapped around his neck, Minho still looks charismatic and alluring for the camera, proving that his good looks are enough to be at par with his group members.

SHINee will be releasing Dazzling Girl on October 10th.

Super Junior topped the Oricon Chart with their new Japanese single, “Sexy, Free & Single.”

According to the Oricon Chart, Super Junior topped the Oricon Daily Single Chart with their fourth Japanese single, “Sexy, Free & Single,” which was released in Japan on August 22.

This single contains two existing songs of Super Junior in Japanese, “Sexy, Free & Single,” released in Korea in July, and “Our Love,” a track from Super Junior’s second album. Super Junior topped the chart without any promotions in Japan.

On August 24 around 1:00 p.m., Ryeowook said thank you to Super Junior’s Japanese fans with the comment on his Twitter account, “We topped the Oricon Chart! Thank you so much. We always appreciate our fans for supporting us. We’ll try harder. ELF is the best! (1位！ありがとうございま~す。応援してくれるファンのみなさんにいつも感謝します。もっとがんばります。ELF最高).”

Big Bang also topped both the Oricon Daily DVD Chart and the overall chart with Big Bang’s Alive 2012 Making Collection.

Therefore, it is proven that there hasn’t been a specific change in sales of K-pop albums despite the fact that Japanese right-wing groups have manipulated media to encourage people to stand against Hallyu by raising a dispute over Dokdo.

Many K-pop singers recently ranked in the top ten of the Oricon Chart.

According to the Oricon Chart issued on August 21, Super Junior, Boyfriend, 4Minute, Big Bang, and Secret ranked in the top ten of the Oricon Daily Single, Daily Album, and DVD charts.

Super Junior ranked second on the Oricon Daily Single Chart with “Sexy, Free & Single.” They have held a concert in Japan once but never done any promotions on TV.

Boyfriend, who just debuted early this year with a large-scale showcase, ranked fourth on the Oricon Daily Single Chart with “Be My Shine.” It’s a great achievement for a new singing group.

4Minute ranked 18th on the Oricon Daily Single Chart with their new single, “Love Tension,” composed by the hit song maker Kim Do Hoon.

Secret ranked in the top ten of the Oricon Daily Album Chart. They ranked sixth on the chart with their new album, Welcome to Secret Time.

Big Bang ranked in the top ten of the Oricon DVD Chart. They topped the chart with a collection DVD of their new EP, “Alive.” Currently on a world tour, Big Bang will release a new song in Japan in two years on September 19.

2NE1 say, “Our first world tour was a valuable experience,” in an interview on Facebook Live

2NE1 was recently interviewed on Facebook Live as the first Asian singing group to be on the show and met their fans all around the world.

Currently staying in the U.S for their world tour, titled New Evolution, 2NE1 appeared on the Facebook’s live talk show Facebook Live for about 45 minutes from 9:00 a.m. on August 23 (Korean time). This interview aired live on YG Blog.

Communicating with over three million fans on Facebook, 2NE1 gave their thoughts on their first concert in the U.S. and told various anecdotes about the concert. They also answered questions from their fans all over the world.

Regarding 2NE1′s recent concert in New Jersey, CL said, “We were really happy to be able to hold a concert with great staff. It was a valuable experience.” To the question about their best music video, 2NE1 chose the music video of “Follow Me.”

Boyfriend successfully debut in Japan, ranking fourth on the Oricon Chart

Boyfriend recently debuted in Japan.

On August 22, Boyfriend released their first single, “Be My Shine,” in Japan and soon ranked fourth on the Oricon Daily Single Chart.

Wonder Girls to start an Asian Tour starting from Singapore

Wonder Girls will be leaving for a five country Asia Tour from September.

Starting from September 8 in Singapore, Wonder Girls will hold live stages in Malaysia on October 13, Indonesia on September 3, Thailand and Vietnam in September.

Expectations are on the rise since Wonder Girls previously had an Asia Tour in 2009 and has been building up know-hows in various stages abroad.

A publicist of Wonder Girls says, “They will try their best to give the very best and unique stages.”

An acquaintance of Wonder Girls’ agency, JYP Entertainment, reveals, “A concert which will respect each country’s culture and tradition will be held. Through careful planning, Wonder Girls will show how a performing girl group should be.”

After the public announcement of their concert, inquiries regarding the ticketing have been overflowing in Malaysia. The fans are calling the concert hall and even the agency itself and asking about how the ticketing will be.

The Vietnamese Concert in September is receiving much attention since not many solo concerts of K pop stars have been held in Vietnam.

The hosting company of this concert, CJ E&M Music Industry, explains, “We planned this concert to celebrate the 20th year of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Korea. Through this concert, spread of K Pop and various culture exchanges are to be expected.”

JJ Project to Open Wonder Girls Concert in Singapore!
