[Press Release] SHINee World II set for Singapore on 8 December 2012, tickets to go on sale in August 2012


SHINee World II, second Asia tour kicked off in Seoul over the weekend on 21-22 July 2012, with a roaring success with over 20,000 fans. Singapore concert organiser Running Into The Sun confirmed that the immensely popular R&B K-Pop group – SHINee, will stage their one-night only concert in Singapore on 8 December 2012 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Tickets are expected to launch in August 2012 with further details to be released shortly.


Shinee, consisting of members Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin, are known for their smooth R&B tunes, sleek dance moves and iconic fashion style featuring high-top sneakers, skinny jeans and colourful sweaters dubbed the “Shinee Trend”. Shinee’s first world tour ‘Shinee World’ in Singapore on 10th September 2011 was a great success with all tickets sold out within in 45 minutes.
Since their debut in 2008, Shinee has garnered millions of fan supports, received multiple awards such as “The Most Anticipated Group for 2012″ bu MBC Gayo Daejun 2011, “Best New Male Group” in Mnet Awards 2008. Their songs such as “Ring Ding Dong”, “JoJo” and “Lucifer” swept across the continents like a wild fire.
Within 4 years of debut, SHINee has released three full-length albums, four mini-albums, one live album
and various singles. Their latest album “Sherlock” launched in March 2012 and set the record for the most album sales in the month with more than 135,000 copies sold in March alone, according to Gaon Chart, the national record chart of South Korea. Shinee also recently started their first Japan concert tour to over 20 cities across Japan, and set the record as the Korean act that attracted the most audiences in Japan with a total of more than 200,000 people.

SS501′s Kim Kyu Jong will do alternative service as a public service worker



SS501′s Kim Kyu Jong will join the army on July 23.
Entering the Jeonju 35th recruit training center on July 23, Kim will receive basic military training for four weeks and do alternative service as a public service worker.
Kim was exempted from military service as a hepatitis B carrier at first, but the military service act was recently amended and he got categorized into a public service worker group.
As a first member of SS501 who joins the army, Kim will say good-bye to his fans shortly before entering the recruit training center.
Having been active in show programs, drama series, and musicals, Kim released his last EP, “Meet Me Again,” before joining the army on July 18.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk shows a receipt for the sales of their new album in China



Super Junior’s Leeteuk recently showed a receipt for the sales of their new album in China.
On July 23, Leeteuk uploaded a picture on his Twitter account with the comment, “A total of 15,716 copies. Wow. 12,600 copies, 3,000 copies, and 116 copies. You really are awesome girls from mainland China. Thank you so much!”
In the picture, there are a document that shows the quantity of Chinese fans’ orders for Super Junior’s new album,Sexy, Free & Single, a total sales price for each order, and receipts for the sales.
The receipt for an order for 12,600 copies of the album is especially attracting a lot of attention because it shows a total sales price of 2.2 billion won.
People responded: “This is the power of Super Junior.” “They’re a real Hallyu idol group.” “The Chinese fans are awesome.”

Jang Keun Suk’s agency says, “Please don’t be obsessed about Jang Keun Suk”



Jang Keun Suk’s agency recently said some of obsessed fans of Jang are acting too abnormal that they want them to stop.
On July 23, a spokesperson for Jang reported, “Some of obsessed fans are giving Jang Keun Suk a hard time. Please stop.”
On July 22, Jang tweeted, “You follow me by taxi, setting up an antenna that is linked to a GPS. The methods are becoming diversified. I’ve already said this several times but I don’t need obsessed fans, so please go away.”
Jang is currently holding a concert tour titled 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour The Cri Show 2, so he tweeted the comment in Japan.
The spokesperson for Jang said, “Some of the obsessed fans followed Jang Keun Suk’s car by taxi, setting up an antenna that is linked to a GPS system. Jang Keun Suk and we are all scared by the fact that he’s being watched every time. We thank you so much for your love but I wish you don’t go too far.”
The obsessed fans are trying to see Jang in various ways. Because Jang always wants to see his fans in the best condition, he’s sad about the obsessed fans’ behaviors.
The first concert of the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour The Cri Show 2 was already held in Seoul and will be continued in five cities in Japan (Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Saitama) and Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taiwan, and Thailand.

B1A4′s Gong Chan has kidney removed on July 23



B1A4′s Gong Chan had one of his kidneys removed on July 23.
The group’s agency, WM Entertainment, said, “Gong Chan had his kidney removed today.”
“When the group was keeping busy with their song “Baby Goodnight,” Gong Chan felt pain in his side. He went to the hospital and heard that his kidney was failing. He put off surgery because he wanted to get surgery after he finished performing the song.”
“Whenever Gong Chan felt pain, he had a pain-killer to perform on stage. He always wore a happy face and tried not to look like he was in pain for group members and fans.”
According to the agency, Gong Chan’s doctor said, “We decided to remove one of his kidneys because it is dysfunctional.”
Gong Chan is currently recovering after the surgery and will stay in a hospital for about a week.
After leaving the hospital, he will be able to have an ordinary life but the agency said that he will be stabilized and given orders not to work too hard.
After the group finished performing their song, Sandeul is appearing in a musical and Baro is appearing in a radio program. The group will also appear on KBS Joy’s B1A4′s Hello Baby, which will start airing on July 25.

Undisclosed pictures of SNSD’s Yoona were recently released.
On July 23, photographer Oh Joong Seok tweeted a picture with the short comment, “Pictures of Yoona.”
In the picture, Yoona is wearing a dress and laying across a couch. She looks different with bangs and her bewitching beauty drew a lot of attention.

New Boygroup C-Clown Debuts Under Yedang Entertainment



A new 6-member boygroup C-Clown debuts under Yedang Entertainment. They are under the same label as girlgroup CHI CHI who debuted in March 2011 and recently made a comeback with ‘Love is Energy’.
C-Clown is an acronym for Crown Clown, aiming to be the king in the kpop music industry yet keeping true to their jovial fun side. Prior to their official debut stage, C-Clown held a guerilla concert in Seoul. To get fans hyped about their debut, individual member video teasers were released on their official youtube channel.

Consisting of 6 members, leader and the oldest member Barom(Rome), Kim Taemin(Siwoo), Kim Hyunil(Ray),KangjunLee Minwoo(TK), and Jaejun(Mau), all appear to have come up with a stage name to set them apart from other idols. C-Clown will be debuting mini-album titled ‘Not Alone’ and promoting their title track ‘Solo’.‘Solo’  tells of the sorrow of a man who is experiencing the last words of goodbye. Produced by Rado, the song showcases the members’ vocals instead of playing up on electronic tunes.
After releasing video teasers online, the group revealed their first full Music Video for ‘Solo‘. It features individual introductions of the members for fans to get to know them better by name. What do you think of their debut song?
