SECRET reveals last ‘Poison’ teaser featuring Han Sunhwa



SECRET has revealed the last individual image teaser for upcoming comeback and 3rd mini-album Poison.
The last teaser features Han Sunhwa, who pulls off a completely different look, more mature and classier than fans have seen her before. Sunhwa continues the classy and sexy look that was exposed by the other members in their respective teasers and she sits in a leopard-styled chair, her hair pulled into a long braid and wrapped around her head. Unlike her fellow members, though, Sunhwa doesn’t display her chest, rather wrapping her arms around her chest and showing off her arm instead.
SECRET will drop their 3rd mini-album on September 13th, but fans should expect more teasers in the coming days.

T-ara cancel a performance with Little T-ara



The controversial robot dance performance of Little T-ara has recently been canceled.
On September 6, T-ara shot a performance for their new song to air on Mnet’s M Countdown.
T-ara were originally going to include a 35-second robot dance performance of Little T-ara at the beginning of their comeback performance for “Sexy Love.”
However, the 35-second robot dance performance of Little T-ara was misinformed as Little T-ara and T-ara’s joint performance, and Core Contents Media, T-ara’s agency, decided not to include the performance.
T-ara will give a performance for “Sexy Love” without Little T-ara, and they’ll also perform “Day and Night.”
T-ara’s new song, “Sexy Love,” is co-composed by Shinsadong Horaengi and Choi Gyu Sung, who composed “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “Roly-Poly,” and “Lovey-Dovey.” The ballad “Day and Night” is co-composed by Jo Young Soo and Ahn Young Min.
T-ara’s comeback performance can be seen on M Countdown on September 6 at 6:00 p.m.

Super Junior’s Siwon shows off a neat, romantic look as a florist



Super Junior’s Siwon recently released a snapshot of his TV commercial for a cosmetics brand he is working for as a model.
On September 6, Siwon uploaded a picture of himself on his Twitter account with the comment, “I’m shooting a TV commercial now. I’m a florist this time. This brand is also preparing a lot of events, so please look forward to them.”
In the picture, Siwon is attracting a lot of attention with his neat, romantic look.
People responded: “Siwon looks perfect as a florist.” “Siwon is always handsome! He’s the best.” “I love Siwon’s florist look!”
In the episode of MBC TV’s Golden Fishery – Radio Star that aired on September 5, Siwon made a guest appearance and talked about the rumor that he is the richest idol singer. Other Super Junior members surprised everyone by saying, “Siwon’s father can even buy MBC TV.”

JYJ’s Jun Su says, “My ideal type is a feminine woman”



JYJ’s Jun Su recently talked about his ideal type.
On September 5 at 2:00 p.m., Jun Su gave an interview to Korean reporters at Camino Real Hotel in Mexico City before holding a concert in Mexico.
After releasing his first solo album, Tarantallegra, in May, Jun Su had concerts in Seoul, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, New York, and LA, meeting over 40,000 fans. On September 6 at 8:00 p.m., Jun Su will hold a concert at the Auditorio BlackBerry in Mexico City. He’s the first Korean solo singer who holds a concert in Mexico city.
Jun Su also talked about his ideal type.
Jun Su said, “I want to have a girlfriend. I don’t have a specific ideal type, but I like a girl who is polite and feminine. I’ve dated a few times, but I don’t have a girlfriend now. I think I will be kicked out even if I have a girlfriend now, though,” insinuating that he’s currently having busy days.
Regarding the fact that he’s the first Korean solo singer holding a concert in Mexico, Jun Su said, “This is my first visit to Mexico, and I’m very happy to be able to hold a concert here. More than 3,000 fans will come to my concert in spite of the fact that this is my first concert in Mexico. I’m so thrilled.”
Jun Su also said, “When I got this opportunity to hold a concert in Mexico, I thought K-pop had really spread all over the world. I’ll try my utmost to create the best concert for my fans in Mexico.”
Jun Su will also hold concerts in Brazil, Chile, and some European countries.

Super Junior’s Siwon says his father is a professor



Super Junior’s Siwon recently said his father, Choi Ki Ho, resigned from the presidency of Boryung Medience.
In the episode of Golden Fishery – Radio Star that aired on September 5, Siwon’s rich father became one of the main topics of the show.
However, Siwon’s father, Choi Ki Ho, resigned from the presidency of Boryung Medience in March, 2011, for personal reasons.
Choi Ki Ho majored in public administration at Dongguk University and became the CEO of Korea Slim Fashion Co., Ltd. after working for Hanwha Group for many years. He’s now an adjunct professor at Sungkonghoe University.
Boryung Medience, an affiliated company of Boryung Group, manufactures skin care products, breast-feeding products, toys, and fashion products. After Choi’s resignation, Kim Eun Jung and Yoo Suk Won became the co-CEOs of the company. This year is the 20th anniversary of its first brand launch, and it recorded 181.7 billion won in sales last year.
Siwon’s mother is running a famous lingerie brand, which is exported all over the world.

BTOB reveals audio teaser ‘WOW’ for mini-album ‘Press Play’



Rookie boy group BTOB has revealed an audio teaser for their comeback song, WOW.
WOW will be the title track of their second mini-album Press Play, which is scheduled to be released on September 12th. A couple of days ago, a colorful and funky teaser was released, signaling that the group was going to make a comeback.
The song is described to have a ‘new jack’ style, which was all the rage back in the 1990s. The song will highlight the group’s terrific vocals and rap skils.

FTISLAND releases an MV teaser for ‘I Wish’



Boy band FTISLAND has just dropped an MV teaser for their upcoming album Five Treasure Box.
Five Treasure Box is their 4th studio album and they will be promoting title track I Wish, starting September 10th. A teaser from the MV was released through Naver Music and subsequently uploaded by fans.
I Wish appears to have some inspiration from Latin/Spanish music and though it’s not much, the beats seem to hint at a mood-lifting, energetic song, though the MV teaser itself hints otherwise.
In addition, the members are said to have participated in the writing of the songs on the album, showing their growth as artists.

SNSD’s Jessica pokes Yoona’s bottom



SNSD’s Jessica is drawing a lot of attention with her ‘wandering hands.’
An online community posted a video with the caption, “Jessica has wandering hands.’
The video was taken when the group attended ‘The 14th Korea-China Song Festival,’ which was held on August 25 at Yeosu Expo.
In the video, Jessica and Yoona are receiving considerable attention. Jessica rolled a national flag of Korea and poked Yoona’s bottom.
People who saw the video responded: “Jessica is such a cutie.” “Jessica is a lovely girl full of fun and mischief.” “Jessica has beautiful hands rather than mischievious hands.” “The video proves that Yoona and Jessica are close friends.”

ZE:A’s Kwang Hee: “Happy birthday to Min Woo!”



ZE:A’s Kwang Hee recently took a picture to celebrate Min Woo’s birthday.
On September 6, Kwang Hee tweeted a picture with the comment, “Happy birthday to Min Woo! It was hard to write this with capital letters and small letters in English. Is it old fashioned? Haha. Anyway, happy birthday, Min Woo.”
In the picture, Kwang Hee is smiling and Min Woo is staring at the camera while holding his cell phone next to his ear.

Min Woo, who was born on September 6 in 1990, turned 22 years old. He passed the JYP Entertainment audition in 2008 but he debuted in January of 2010 with “Nativity” through Star Empire with leader Moon Jun Young’s help.

Secret will release a sexy teaser for “Poison”



Secret recently released a jacket photo and announced that they will release a teaser video for their title song “Poison” at midnight on September 7. 
The group’s agency, TS Entertainment, released individual pictorials for group members prior to their EP release. On September 6, the agency released a group picture and said that they will release a teaser video through YouTube.
Secret members drew a lot of attention by showing off their sexy mature looks through their individual pictorials. The four members dressed up in red retro style costumes, which were popular in 1940. Their beautiful clavicles and legs made many people look forward to seeing the teaser video.
A spokesperson for the agency says that the one minute teaser video for “Poison” portrays Secret members as sexy ladies rather than cute girls to capture male fans’ hearts.
Secret has become a national girl group by releasing hit songs, including, “Magic,” “Madonna,” “Shy Boy,” “Starlight Moonlight,” and “Love Is Move.” The new title song “Poison” is also composed by Kang Ji Won and Kim Ki Beom to become the sixth hit song.
Secret’s third EP will be released on and offline on September 13.

EXO-M will be present at KCON USA



EXO-M fans, start cheering, for it’s been announced that EXO-M will be present at the first ever North American KCON.
KCON, or KPOP Convention for short, will be held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, located in Irvine, CA. It’s the first of its kind to be held on North American soil and EXO-M will join the likes of 4minute, B.A.P, and VIXX as artists in the current line-up. KCON has hinted that there will be more artists to come.
Tickets start at $40 and the event will be held on October 13th.

Check out the teaser for FT Island’s new album!



On September 6, the rock band FT Island revealed a teaser for its fourth official album titled Five Treasure Box.
In the teaser “I Wish,” the title track of their new album, you will find out five members with more mature charms. The leading female character of the clip draws particular attention for she turns out to be in the same agency with them; she is Hye Jung of the rookie girl group AOA.
After three years of rest, FT Island finally came out with an official album, and they built up expectations by saying, “All members participated in composing songs on this album, so we managed to include our favorite type of music.”
Among the compositions, Lee Hong Ki feels particular attachment to “Life” and “Compass” while Choi Jong Hun to “Paper Plane,” Lee Jae Jin to “Let It Go,” and Choi Min Hwan and Song Seung Hyun to “Compass” in the same way.
During the exclusive concert held for the past two days to celebrate its return, the band proved its underlying potential with stable instrument play and stage manners.
The new album will be released on September 10, and the first return performance will be on M.net’s M Count Down on the 13th.

G-Dragon teases fans with screenshot of upcoming M



BIG BANG’s G-Dragon has teased fans with a screenshot of what appears to be from his upcoming MV.
Having released One of a Kind and That XX a week apart, G-Dragon announced that he would be releasing his solo mini-album One of a Kind on September 15th and promote title track Crayon. Through his Twitter and Instagram accounts, he tweeted, “Now I’m shooting MV” and attached the above photo.
Fans are already anticipating his new song and mini-album, and they have much to expect of the leader, who blew them all away with his MVs for One of a Kind and That XX.

Psy Signs to Scooter Braun’s Label, Will Appear at MTV VMAs



Psy, the Korean pop star and U.S. viral video sensation, uploaded a short clip on his official YouTube channel Monday showing music exec Scooter Braun and himself sharing a drink and making a big announcement: Sources have confirmed to Billboard that Psy has signed to Braun’s Schoolboy Records, part of Universal Republic.

“We’ve been hanging out in California for four days,” Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager, says in the clip. “And we’ve come to an agreement to make some history together. [To] be the first Korean artist to break a big record in the United States.”



To mark the international moment the two take a large gulp of native Korean alcohol soju with Braun toasting, “To Psy, to Korea, to breaking down barriers, to the future.”

Psy is best known around the world for his viral music video sensation
“Gangnam Style” which this past summer has received nearly 100 million views
– though the work was never intended for American audiences.


That future looks bright as Psy will have a major platform to up his American awareness at this week at the MTV Video Music Awards. In the same report that announced Psy’s signing, it was also confirmed that he will make an appearance on the VMA stage this Thursday.

The announcement comes as an official attempt to break “Gangnam Style,” a track sung almost entirely in Korean that went viral from its hilarious music video, in America. Psy’s Korean comeback track was not only a huge hit in his home country (it tied for the most weeks at No. 1 on the K-Pop Hot 100) but on the worldwide social media scene (he is the No. 1 artist on the Social 50 chart). “Gangnam Style” has slowly but surely gained digital downloads and radio play making a debut on the upcoming Hot 100 chart likely.

In addition to managing Justin Bieber, Braun has also signed Carly Rae Jepsen to his Schoolboy Records label and manages The Wanted in North America.
