Jay Park’s “Know Your Name” shows that it’s time to “Know His Name”

On February 7, Jay Park’s new album, New Breed, was unveiled, vaulting directly to upper ranks on major real-time music ranking charts: M.net, Cymusic, Bugs, Soribada, Olleh Music and Daum Music. This significant achievement clearly proves the “Jay Effect.”
In addition, as his new album became available among international fans, it put its name on the higher ranks of a variety of overseas R&B soul album charts.
This album is packaged with Jay Park’s artistic talent: He employed himself as a chief producer of this album, and more than 80 percent of the songs was written by himself. As a well-balanced combination of pop, Euro disco and hip hop, the title song “Know Your Nam” sounds like hypnotizing listeners.
Moreover, this album involved a panel of proven music artists such as Justin Timberlake’s producer Rob Knox and Dynamic Duo, which clearly proves the high quality of this album.
Many Korean critics praised this young singer very highly. Noh Jun Young, one of the critics, threw bouquets at the album via his Twitter page by saying, “Jay Park’s ‘Know Your Name’ should be ‘Know His Name.’ Listening to this song, I thought it is the time to recognize him as a real musician.”
