On August 13, Jeon attended a press conference for SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday series To The Beautiful You in Seoul.
He said, “The main characters in the series are a high school boy and girl and the girl disguises herself into a boy. That reminded me of Min Ho and Sulli.”
“I interviewed the two stars and they had to attend the audition to prove to me that they were good enough to appear in the series.”

Jeon has directed several TV series, including, Boys over FlowersWitch Yoo HeeMy Girl, and Delightful Girl Choon Hyang.
The series is about a girl named Goo Jae Hee (played by Sulli), who transfers to the same school that high jump gold medalist Kang Tae Joon (played by Min Ho) attends.
