Jang Keun Suk successfully completes his Japanese concert



Actor Jang Keun Suk recently made over 36,000 Japanese fans wild with excitement.
Jang flew to Japan on September 13 to hold ‘The Cri Show 2′ starting on Septmeber 14 for eight nights and nine days.
Over 36,000 tickets for four concerts, which were held in Osaka on September 14 and 15 and in Nagoya on September 19 and 20, sold out in total.
Since Jang gave live performances throughout all his concerts during the Asian tour, his throat was not feeling very well. Jang, however, did his best to make the concerts perfect for the Japanese fans.
His fans also held a surprise event for Jang. At the Nagoya concert on his lunar birthday, September 19, the fans impressed Jang by singing a birthday song.
After giving an encore at the second concert in Nagoya, Jang completed his four Japanese concerts by thanking his fans.
Jang will also hold ‘The Cri Show 2′ in Fukuoka on October 6 and 7.

Jang Keun Suk dresses up like a girl



Actor Jang Keun Suk recently released a picture of himself dressing up like a girl.
On September 10, Jang uploaded a picture on his Twitter account with the comment, “Hello. I’m Jang Keun Suk’s girlfriend Keun Gyaru.”
In the picture, Jang is making a parody of comedian Park Sung Ho’s character Gyaru Sang in the segment of Menboong School on KBS 2TV’s Gag Concert. Jang is showing off a feminine look with a hairband with a big ribbon, a brown wig, and strong eye makeup.
Jang also got laughs by commenting, “I was scolded by my mother after uploading this picture.”
People responded: “Who did the makeup for you?” “Jang Keun Suk looks good in a girl’s dress.” “I think it will be fun if you appears on Gag Concert as Gyaru Sang.”

Jang Keun Suk receives a special 20th debut anniversary present from his fans



Actor Jang Keun Suk recently received a special present from his fans for his 20th debut anniversary.
On September 10, Jang’s agency, Tree J. Company, said that Jang’s official fan club members prepared a special subway advertisement to celebrate the 20th debut anniversary.
One of the Line No. 5 trains in Seoul has been decorated with pictures of Jang since September 9.
Four different kinds of 258 advertisements were made by the fans so that many people can discover that Jang  debuted twenty years ago. The train will run through Seoul for about a month until October 10. It is more meaningful because Jang’s birthday is on September 26.

The fans expressed their feelings through the advertisements. They also quoted a letter that Jang wrote for the fans and read at his Tokyo Dome concert in November of 2011.
Many people are asking the Seoul Metro Rail Transit about the Jang Keun Suk Train to see what time the train will run. People who rode the train are uploading the pictures on several online communities.
In addition, the fans did volunteer work to celebrate the big anniversary. They formed a volunteer work group to do volunteer works constantly.
Jang recently finished holding the ’2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour-The Cri Show 2′ in Taiwan successfully. He will hold more concerts in Osaka on September 14 and 15 and in Nagoya on September 19 and 20.

On September 4, Jang tweeted pictures with the comment, “The look on my face in the second picture. Ah! There is no gas.”
In the pictures, Jang is talking with someone while sitting in his car. He looks like he is puzzled about something and it drew a lot of attention.
His simple fashion style also impressed the public. Jang is wearing a black sleeveless shirt and big framed sunglasses, which made him look chic.

Under the direction of photographer Jo Sun Hee and under the concept of Run Way, Jang and Go created chic looks through various poses.
The winter collection of Codes Combine includes various items, which ranges from military jackets to casual jackets for hikers.

Jang Keun Suk successfully holds a concert in Taiwan


Jang Keun Suk successfully held a concert in Taiwan.
Visiting Taiwan to hold a concert, the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour: The Cri Show 2 in Taipei, on September 1, Jang was warmly received by his Taiwanese fans, proving his high popularity in Taiwan.
On August 30, Jang arrived at the Taipei Airport with his staff, which numbered around a hundred. The airport was filled with Jang’s fans and reporters who came to see Jang. The Taiwanese fans also said good-bye to Jang at the airport when he left Taiwan.
In a press interview, which was held on August 31 at Taipei Regent Hotel, around a hundred reporters from about 40 media sources, including Apple Daily Newspaper, The China Times, Tainan Taiwan Newspaper, TTV, and CTV attended and showed their interest in Jang.
In the interview, Jang answered to reporters’ questions about his concert in Taiwan, gave his thoughts on the 20th anniversary of his debut, and told his future plan. He also gave the host of the interview half-moon-shaped rice cake and Korean traditional sweets and cookies as gifts, introducing Korean Thanksgiving Day.
At the concert, which was held on September 1, Jang performed his songs live, had a talk time with his fans, and held various events in appreciation of his fans’ love. At the talk time, Jang said thank you to the Taiwanese fans for waiting for him for more than a year.
The 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour: The Cri Show 2 will be held in Osaka, Japan, on September 14 and 15, and in Nagoya, Japan, on September 19 and 20.

Jang Keun Suk says, “My press interview has not been postponed because of anti-Korean sentiments”



Jang Keun Suk recently said the press interview he was going to give in Japan has not been postponed because of anti-Korean sentiments in Japan.
On August 29, Tri-J Entertainment, Jang’s agency, reported, “The press interview with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company has been postponed before the issue regarding Dokdo was brought up because it was underprepared.” Earlier that day, a newspaper reported that the reason Jang’s press interview in Japan has been postponed is that there is currently a diplomatic conflict between Korea and Japan.
Regarding the newspaper’s report, Jang’s agency said, “People seem to misunderstand about this because it has been postponed around the time the issue was brought up, but it’s not true. We’ll reschedule the press interview soon.”

Jang Keun Suk appears at ‘Summer Sonic 2012′



Jang Keun Suk recently formed a project group Team H and appeared at the ‘Summer Sonic 2012′ to show off his passion and talent.
The ‘Summer Sonic 2012,’ one of the biggest Asian music festivals, was held in Japan on August 19. Jang appeared at the festival with his musical partner Big Brother.
The project group Team H drew a lot of attention by giving unique performances at the festival, where many international musicians, including, Green Day, Rihanna, Jamiroquai, Sigur Ros, Ke$sha, and Hoobastank appeared.
Jang sang songs, including, “We Are,” “Shake It,” and “Gotta Get Cha” from their EP Team H. He also received considerable attention by performing remixed DJ songs.
Many people were so excited at the concert that they pushed up to the front and even made Jang stop performing temporarily. He rearranged the seats and started the concert again.
Jang spoke in English about how he feels appearing at the festival and explained the music that Team H makes, and he also talked about his future plans.
Jang finished performing ‘The Cri Show 2′ in Seoul, Japan, and China. He will hold another show in Taiwan on August 1.

Jang Keun Suk recently had a hard time because of fans obsessed with him.
On August 11, Jang went to Shanghai, China, for a concert that was part of the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour: The Cri Show 2, but he had a hard time because of Chinese fans obsessed with him.
On August 14, a spokesperson for Jang reported that Jang went to a restaurant to have a meal after the concert, but there were a lot of people around the restaurant to see him. Chinese police tried to break up the crowd, but it was totally uncontrollable.
The police told Jang, “You’re the reason for this mess, so you have to leave here immediately.” Eventually, Jang had to leave the restaurant.
The spokesperson for Jang also reported, “Even after Jang Keun Suk left the restaurant, the fans kept following his car. It was really dangerous. We were lucky to be alive.”
Because of this, the agency handling Jang’s concert was investigated.
This is not something that happens only in China. Some Japanese fans once installed a location-tracking device on Jang’s car in order to follow him.
The spokesperson for Jang says, “We really appreciate all Chinese and Japanese fans for supporting Jang Keun Suk, but we ask you to stop doing such extreme things because they are often seriously dangerous.”
Over 10,000 Chinese fans came to the concert in Shanghai to see Jang, and nearly 40 major media sources came to a press interview that was held on August 10.
In a real-time interview on Weibo, Jang received over 420,000 questions, proving his high popularity as a Hallyu star.
Jang will continue his concert tour in Taiwan on September 1. He will also participate in Summer Sonic 2012, which will be held in Osaka and Tokyo on August 18 and 19.

Recently, Jang criticized one of his extreme fans.
On August 11, Jang conducted The Cri Show 2 in Shanghai, China. One of his fans, however, gave him a hard time after the concert, and the star could not help but leave some comments about it on Weibo (a Chinese version of Twitter).
On the next day, Jang left another comment which read, “I love you, my fans. I just dislike some extreme, egoistic fans who violate traffic regulations and care less about safety to follow me around 24/7. I wanted to stay longer in China and write a Shanghai diary, but I’m going back to Korea! Sorry, thank you, and love you all. Except for those extreme fans.”
Netizens who saw the posting reacted: “Those crazy fans in China make you speechless.” “He has already said enough about them, but they just don’t get it.” “There are some crazy fans in Korea, but we’re speaking in global terms now.”

Jang Keun Suk is invited to UMF Korea as a special guest



Jang Keun Suk has been invited to a world-famous music festival.
Jang will perform with Big Brother as a member of the project group Team H at the UMF Korea – Ultra Music Festival, which will be held at the Olympic Arena on August 4.
The UMF Korea is the most famous electronic dance music festival in the world. Jang is expected to give an energetic performance for audiences because he once spoke of his aspiration to perform in Europe this fall.
Including the British DJ Marc Vedo, who became popular in SPACE Ibiza, one of the most famous clubs in the world, by remixing songs of Boy George and George Michael, and DJ MAURI & MORA, who is well-known as a composer and a producer of such world-famous DJs and artists as DJ Tiësto, many world-famous DJs and bands will perform at the UMF Korea.

Actor Jang Keun Suk has become the most popular Korean celebrity in Taiwan.
On July 24, Jang’s agency reported that Jang ranked first on the top ten most Korean popular male celebrities of the first half of 2012 on Yahoo, the biggest portal site in Taiwan.
According to the agency, KBS 2TV’s Love Rain is currently airing in Taiwan and the leading actor Jang is popular among Taiwanese viewers because of his handsome face and his character’s carefree personality.
Besides Jang, Kim Hyun Joong ranked second and JYJ’s Yoo Chun ranked third.
Jang recently finished his concert tour, the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour – The Cri Show 2, in Seoul and Yokohama, Japan, and will continue in Taipei, Taiwan, on September 1 and 2.

Jang Keun Suk’s agency says, “Please don’t be obsessed about Jang Keun Suk”



Jang Keun Suk’s agency recently said some of obsessed fans of Jang are acting too abnormal that they want them to stop.
On July 23, a spokesperson for Jang reported, “Some of obsessed fans are giving Jang Keun Suk a hard time. Please stop.”
On July 22, Jang tweeted, “You follow me by taxi, setting up an antenna that is linked to a GPS. The methods are becoming diversified. I’ve already said this several times but I don’t need obsessed fans, so please go away.”
Jang is currently holding a concert tour titled 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour The Cri Show 2, so he tweeted the comment in Japan.
The spokesperson for Jang said, “Some of the obsessed fans followed Jang Keun Suk’s car by taxi, setting up an antenna that is linked to a GPS system. Jang Keun Suk and we are all scared by the fact that he’s being watched every time. We thank you so much for your love but I wish you don’t go too far.”
The obsessed fans are trying to see Jang in various ways. Because Jang always wants to see his fans in the best condition, he’s sad about the obsessed fans’ behaviors.
The first concert of the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour The Cri Show 2 was already held in Seoul and will be continued in five cities in Japan (Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Saitama) and Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taiwan, and Thailand.
