CN Blue release their new song at Mezamashi Live in Japan



CN Blue performed at the Mezamashi Live in Japan.
On August 28 at 12:30 p.m., CN Blue performed their new song, “Time Is Over,” live at the Mezamashi Live, which was held by Fuji TV.
During the performance, Kang Min Hyuk especially attracted a lot of attention with his drumming. “Time Is Over” is composed and written by Jung Yong Hwa after getting inspired by the film The Avengers.
CN Blue also performed “Come On,” their new Japanese single released on August 1; “Let’s Go Crazy” and “Voice” in which Jung’s powerful voice and Lee Jong Hyun’s gentle voice stood out; “One Time,” which is characterized by Lee Jung Shin’s attractive rapping, and “In My Head,” their debut single in Japan.
CN Blue, currently popular in both Korea and Japan, will release their first Japanese album, Code Name Blue, on August 29. They’ll also go on a tour of Japan in October under the title of CN Blue Arena Tour 2012 ~ Come On!!!~.

Super Junior, Miss A, and B1A4 perform for over 8,000 fans in China



Super Junior, Miss A, and B1A4 got over 8,000 Chinese fans excited.
Super Junior, Miss A, and B1A4 attended the MO.A (Most Amazing) Concert, which was held at the International Sports Arena in Guangzhou, China, on August 26 at 7:00 p.m., with Wei Chen from China.
The MO.A is a joint concert of M-Live, CJ E&M’s global concert brand. It was held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in the November of 2011, and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the December of 2011. The concert in Guangzhou attracted over 8,000 people.
During the concert, Super Junior’s Leeteuk said, “I think we should hold a concert in the Beijing National Stadium.” He also touched his fans by shedding tears at the end of the concert.
According to reports, over a thousand fans from Shanghai and Hong Kong swarmed over to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to see the Korean singers.

B.A.P’s new single, “Big Events,” is now hot



B.A.P’s repackaged single, “Big Events,” was released on August 29 at noon.
Having recently finished promoting “No Mercy,” giving the last performance for the song in the August 26 episode of SBS TV’s Inkigayo, B.A.P will change their image with their new song, “Big Events.” The song is currently attracting a lot of attention, becoming one of the most searched words on portal sites.
“Big Events” is characterized by guitar and synth sounds, based on British Rock. It’s receiving a lot of attention because it’s been reported that this could replace “No Mercy.”
Unlike the intense, manly songs previously performed by B.A.P, it’s a lovely song about a boy who has fallen in love.
This single also contains “I Remember,” composed by Bang Yong Guk last August and sung by Dae Hyun. This was originally sung by B2ST’s Yo Seob.

KARA ranks first on Show Champion with “Pandora”



Hallyu girl group KARA, who recently released their fifth Korean EP, ranked first on a music program with their new song “Pandora.”
The group performed the song on the August 28 live episode of MBC Music’s Show Champion and received the title Champion Song for the last week of August. They ranked first for the first time after returning to performing.
KARA passionately sang the title song “Pandora” and then followed up with their song “Miss U”.
They showed off their mature and sexy looks through the song “Pandora” and their cute and lovely looks through “Miss U.”
After they ranked first, the members said, “We are really happy to received this first place trophy for the first time after we started performing in Korea. We will do our best whenever we perform on stage.” The five members held the trophy in turn while they are giving an encore.
Besides KARA, many idol groups, including, B2ST, B.A.P, VIXX, Tasty, Phantom, Two X, F.Cuz, SKARF, Lumi L, E7, and D-Unit appeared on the show to give amazing performances.
The show will be rearranged in September and it will air even more enjoyable performances starting on September 4.

SHINee reveals final ‘Dazzling Girl’ teaser, featuring Onew



SHINee has released the final individual image teaser for upcoming 5th Japanese single, Dazzling Girl, featuring leader Onew.
This final teaser completes the set and similarly to the rest of SHINee, Onew is seen in a monotone color, his hair damp from water or sweat, his body clad in a dark shirt with black tie. He looks as if he is confused and is about to put shades on his face, perhaps blinded by the ‘dazzling girl’.
SHINee will release Dazzling Girl on October 10th.

4minute advertised an ice cream company when they were fat?



Group 4minute is drawing a lot of attention from an old picture of the group promoting an ice cream brand.
In the August 29 episode of QTV’s 4minute’s Travel Maker, the group said, “We start going on a diet two weeks before we appear on TV. After our first TV appearance, we gain weight again.”
Hyun Ah said, “When we gained the most weight, we shot a commercial for an ice cream brand. All five members looked the same.”
As a result, several online communities found and posted the advertisement in question. In the picture, 4minute members are staring at the camera while making cute faces. But they don’t look as fat as Hyun Ah described.

Does ZE:A’s Lim Si Wan envy Park Hyung Sik?



Several behind the scene pictures of ZE:A’s Lim Si Wan and Park Hyung Sik were recently released and drew a lot of attention.

B.A.P unveils fun MV for ‘Crash’



Rookie boy group B.A.P has unveiled their MV for their first repackaged album, Crash.
Crash describes about the ‘crash’ that occurs after falling in love for the first time. This is their follow-up to their 1st mini-album No Mercy and is their fourth promotion period since debuting earlier this year.
The MV for Crash is not like a regular MV as it more showcases the boys’ fun and cute personalities, a 180-degree change from their normally manlier and powerful looks that they’ve displayed on stage. The MV also has clips of the members in the waiting room and on the set of their photoshoot for the album. The album also includes a new version of I Remember featuring Yongguk and Daehyun in place of Yoseob.

New girl group member from YG appears in G-Dragon’s music video



A new girl group member from YG Entertainment appeared in a music video for Big Bang’s G-Dragon’s new song “That XX” as a heroine and received a lot of attention.
On August 29, several officials in the K-pop world said that the teenage girl, who was unveiled through a picture that the agency released on their official blog on April 10, appeared in a music video for G-Dragon’s song “That XX.” The video and the song will be released on September 1.

The agency previously announced that they will create a new girl group, composed of Kim Eun Bi, who was born in 1993 and appeared on Super Star K 2, Yuna Kim, who was born in 1994 and appeared on Super Star K 3, Kim Jenny and a sixteen year old biracial girl.
Since they are the second girl group, three years after 2NE1 has formed, the new members received an explosive response.
The agency has not given any details about the new girl group, but they did just announce that the group will debut in October.

Shawols in Singapore, are you ready for Shinee World II?



Last month (21 Jul 2012), international popular boy group Shinee has officially marked the start of the second Asia Tour with a concert in Seoul, Korea. Singapore concert organiser Running Into The Sun proudly announced that Shinee will be coming to Singapore for Shinee World II and ticket sale will be launched via Sistic this Friday (31st August). Various ticket categories such as mosh pit and balcony tickets will be sold.
Shinee is known for their smooth R&B tunes, sleek dance moves and iconic fashion style featuring high-top sneakers and skinny jeans. Their latest album “Sherlock” was launched in March 2012 and has set the record for the most album sales in the month with more than 135,000 copies sold in March, according to Gaon Chart, the national record chart of South Korea. Shinee also recently started their first Japan concert tour to over 20 cities across Japan, and set the record as the Korean act that attracted the most audiences in Japan with a total of more than 200,000 people.
Shinee World II is expected to be staged throughout Asia including Taipei, Hong Kong and Singapore, in which their Singapore stop has been confirmed to be on the 8th December 2012.

Jang Keun Suk recently said the press interview he was going to give in Japan has not been postponed because of anti-Korean sentiments in Japan.
On August 29, Tri-J Entertainment, Jang’s agency, reported, “The press interview with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company has been postponed before the issue regarding Dokdo was brought up because it was underprepared.” Earlier that day, a newspaper reported that the reason Jang’s press interview in Japan has been postponed is that there is currently a diplomatic conflict between Korea and Japan.

T-ara apologize to their fans: “We hope no one gets hurt anymore”



T-ara recently released an official handwritten apology.
