Is the condition for Kara’s dance from KBS for Music Bank pointless?

As fans well know, Kara has released a new song title Pandora.The catchy beat has captured the attention of all Kara’s fans from all over the world.

However, a scandal erupted not from the song itself which is considered to be a little bit sexual but the dance moves Kara presents. Recently, there was a news stating that KBS World will probably ask for the group to change their dance moves or costume. This is because KBS World is more conservative than other broadcasting companies and its broadcast is rated for those age 15 years and older.

I myself am a fan of Kara and I strongly disagree with this. Before I say anything further, I would like to state that this is only my opinion and I have no intention to mock anybody or anything nor do I intent to start a fight between any party.

I live in an Asian country that is more conservative that Korea.  Like I just mentioned, my country is quite conservative in which outfits that Kara wears for their music video would’ve caused an uproar over here. As Korea is more open than my country, I figured that Kara’s style is the norm for them and something that wouldn’t be controversial.

It wasn’t that long ago that I was 15 years old. Despite living in a different Asian country and having different culture than Korea, I know what is going on in the mind if a 15 year old. What Kara did was nothing. They were just dancing and I think there are other KPOP groups which seemed to have crossed the line but were not publicly mentioned like Kara.

I also think that the way you view things depend on what you constantly think about. For example, you’re a big fan of doughnuts and it would be understandable if you would look at the round stoplight like it’s some type of doughnut. I wonder what’s going on in the mind of those who accused Kara’s dance to  be a little bit sexual.

Besides, 15 year old nowadays have lots more on their mind than paying attention to the condition of Kara’s dance moves.

KARA ranks first on Show Champion with “Pandora”

Hallyu girl group KARA, who recently released their fifth Korean EP, ranked first on a music program with their new song “Pandora.”

The group performed the song on the August 28 live episode of MBC Music’s Show Champion and received the title Champion Song for the last week of August. They ranked first for the first time after returning to performing.

KARA passionately sang the title song “Pandora” and then followed up with their song “Miss U”.

They showed off their mature and sexy looks through the song “Pandora” and their cute and lovely looks through “Miss U.”

After they ranked first, the members said, “We are really happy to received this first place trophy for the first time after we started performing in Korea. We will do our best whenever we perform on stage.” The five members held the trophy in turn while they are giving an encore.

Besides KARA, many idol groups, including, B2ST, B.A.P, VIXX, Tasty, Phantom, Two X, F.Cuz, SKARF, Lumi L, E7, and D-Unit appeared on the show to give amazing performances.

The show will be rearranged in September and it will air even more enjoyable performances starting on September 4.

Girl group Kara has recently experienced their increasing popularity at Gangnam subway station on Line 2.

On August 27, a posting titled “A shooting for guerrilla date~ Pictures of Kara taken directly at Gangnam station today,” was uploaded on an online community board.

Kara is spotted shooting the segment called guerrilla date of KBS 2’s Entertainment News.

The girls are surrounded by a huge crowd of people. Each of them wears different color of light-toned clothes, showing individual charm.

The production crew for KBS’s Super Junior’s Kiss The Radio recently apologized to KARA.

The August 16 episode of the radio show played KARA’s new song “Pandora.” But the song was originally supposed to be released on August 22. Many people complained about it on itheir bulletin board and the listeners asked them to apologize.

The production crew posted an apology note on their official Twitter account. It says, “KARA’s unreleased new song played on the show today. The person who selected the song only checked that the song has passed the deliberation and didn’t check the release date of their EP. Please don’t share today’s episode.”

Producer Jung Hyun Jae posted a note on their official website, “I’m the one who selected the song. I had to record another episode of the show so I just arrived home now. Sorry for causing trouble to KARA and their fans.”

“It’s my fault because I didn’t check the release of the song. I’m so sorry I made you worry about spreading the unreleased song. I will try not to make the same mistake in the future.”

Top K-pop singers go to USA to hold Super Concert

Top K-pop singers plan to take the United States by storm soon.

The ’2012 K-pop Super Concert in America’ will be held at the Home Depot Center in LA, California, USA on August 10.

Top nine K-pop singers, including, SNSD, SHINee, 2PM, 2AM, CNBLUE, KARA, SISTAR, Secret, and MBLAQ, will attend the concert. The venue can hold 27,000 people, which is the biggest number among all K-pop concerts in American history. Around 500 staff members prove that it will be the best concert ever.

On July 10, the concert created its official Facebook account (http://www.facebook.com/AbsoluteKpop) and received considerable attention in the United States. Over 300,000 people visited the account and the concert is expected to become the best concert to promote the K-pop craze.

The concert will air on SBS as a special concert in LA.

KARA are the most powerful Hallyu stars in Japan

Kara’s ranking in the most power celebrities in Japan is the highest among Hallyu stars.

According to the report from DSP Media, KARA’s agency, on July 11, KARA ranked sixth in the 2012 Talent Power Ranking for the First Half Year, a survey conducted by the popular entertainment magazine Nikkei Entertainment targeting teenage girls.

The popular male group Arashi ranked from first to fifth, and KARA ranked sixth. KARA were the only Hallyu stars and foreign artists who ranked in the top ten.

Nikkei Entertainment, a magazine that provides information and news about the Japanese entertainment world, is one of the most trusted and recognized magazines in Japan. It carries out a survey about the most popular Japanese celebrities every year.

KARA’s ranking is attracting a lot of attention from interested people in the Japanese entertainment industry because it is higher than the Japanese popular girl group AKB48′s. Their popularity has already been proved by selling over a million copies of their single in the shortest period for Korean singers.

SHINee’s Key wrapped up his last performance for his debut musical Catch Me if You Can on June 7th and Nicole went to visit Key to watch his last performance and to give him support.
