BAP sings “No Mercy” on MTV The Show

BAP literally showed no mercy, as they pumped up the crowd of Cheongdam’s coolest place to party, Club Answer.  They performed their latest single “No Mercy” on MTV’s club-themed music show “The Show.” Members Yong Guk, Himchan and Zelo were also special MCs for the 22nd episode, which was aired last August 17th. The boys will be performing again in the upcoming epsiode this Friday  (August 24th) on SBS MTV at 8pm (KST) giving you one more reason to say TGIF.

TVXQ become men of the fall in the 50s

TVXQ (Yunho and Changmin) recently became romantic men of the fall.

On August 20, the fashion magazine Cosmopolitan released a pictorial of TVXQ along with an interview with them. Being featured on the cover of the September issue of Cosmo Men, the concept of TVXQ is men in the classic movie of the 50s. TVXQ members are showing off their great looks in khaki, black, and navy blue jackets with hairstyles like James Dean.

In the interview, TVXQ gave their thoughts on the tenth anniversary of their debut.

Yunho said, “I want to hold an event for my fans. I want to give live performances that everyone can enjoy together.”

With the sales of their new single, the cumulative sales of TVXQ’s albums reached 3.1 million in Japan.

Changmin said, “It’s good that the name of TVXQ is mentioned with other world-renowned artists in Japan. We don’t think we can easily compete with them only because we have set new records. We want to set new records constantly so that TVXQ can be mentioned when other artists break our records.”

CN Blue will hold a concert in the UK, the home of rock, on Sep. 22

CN Blue will perform in the UK, the home of band music.

CN Blue will hold a concert, titled CN Blue Live in London, on September 22 at the IndigO2 in London, the UK.

This is part of the M-Live project, a global concert brand of CJ E&M. The world-famous agency AEG will manage the concert as a partner.

At the M-Live concert of FT Island and CN Blue, which was held at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in the U.S. on March 9, Susan Rosenbluth, the vice-president of AEG, attended and said, “I could see the popularity of K-pop, and I’m very much satisfied with the artists and stage management.”

A spokesperson for CJ E&M M-Live says, “Because AEG in the UK showed great interest in CN Blue, we could quickly start preparing for the concert. Over 80% of the audience for the LA concert of FT Island and CN Blue, both represented by FNC Entertainment, was local people, and we could make profits with only ticket sales. We also feel good about this concert in the UK.”

FNC Entertainment, CN Blue’s agency, says, “We feel so honored to hold a concert in the UK after we held one in the U.S., the home of rock. We’ll try our utmost to create the best concert.”

Ahn Suk Jun, the CEO of CJ E&M’s Music Business Department and a person in charge of M-Live, says, “This is the result of our constant investment in K-pop. We’ll continuously support such talented artists as CN Blue to be able to perform in more countries.”

Big Bang’s Seungri makes a parody of Psy’s “Gangnam Style”

Big Bang’s Seungri recently attracted attention by making a parody of Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”

On August 20, Seungri uploaded a video on his me2day account with the comment, “Big Bang’s Seungri made a parody of Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style.’ Psy, please don’t forget about me even if you become a world-famous star. What are your styles?”

In the video, Seungri steps out as “Gangnam Style” is played. He shows off his talent and passion, raising his hands high.

Seungri especially attracts attention with his dance to the chorus part. His serious face gets a lot of laughs.

People responded: “You’re Gwangju style.” “You look so cute at the end.” “I’m curious about Big Bang’s version.” “You surely know how to dance.”

Big Bang will hold a concert tour of Asia, starting in Singapore on September 28.

Jang Keun Suk appears at ‘Summer Sonic 2012′

Jang Keun Suk recently formed a project group Team H and appeared at the ‘Summer Sonic 2012′ to show off his passion and talent.

The ‘Summer Sonic 2012,’ one of the biggest Asian music festivals, was held in Japan on August 19. Jang appeared at the festival with his musical partner Big Brother.

The project group Team H drew a lot of attention by giving unique performances at the festival, where many international musicians, including, Green Day, Rihanna, Jamiroquai, Sigur Ros, Ke$sha, and Hoobastank appeared.

Jang sang songs, including, “We Are,” “Shake It,” and “Gotta Get Cha” from their EP Team H. He also received considerable attention by performing remixed DJ songs.

Many people were so excited at the concert that they pushed up to the front and even made Jang stop performing temporarily. He rearranged the seats and started the concert again.

Jang spoke in English about how he feels appearing at the festival and explained the music that Team H makes, and he also talked about his future plans.

Jang finished performing ‘The Cri Show 2′ in Seoul, Japan, and China. He will hold another show in Taiwan on August 1.

Teen Top prepares for autumn with splendid clothes and colorful hair

Group Teen Top recently started preparing for autumn.

Teen Top portrayed funky boys in animal printed clothes with colorful hairstyles while shooting a pictorial for the fashion magazine Vogue Girl.

Their splendid and colorful shoes are also drawing a lot of attention.

The group also talked honestly about their title song “Will You Go Out With Me?”

The members sometimes confused the reporter by giving weird answers and talking about their first proposals and presents that they want to give to their girlfriends.

The pictorial will be included in the September edition of the magazine.

JYJ’s Kim Jun Su’s music video ranks first in China

JYJ’s Kim Jun Su recently ranked first in China with his first English solo video.

Kim released his English single “Uncommitted” on August 17 and ranked first on Yin Yue Tai, the biggest Chinese music video chart.

The music video for the song received over 3.28 million hits and ranked first as soon as it was released. The agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said, “It’s hard to access YouTube site in China so the Yin Yue Tai chart proves Kim’s popularity. He received such a result without promoting himself in China.”

It has been three months since he released his solo EP Tarantallegra in May. The EP, however, ranked seventh and proved its high popularity.

Kim’s first EP set a new record in sales as a solo on the Gaon chart and he proved his global popularity by ranking high in China, the United States, Germany, and Chile. The English single “Uncommitted” also ranked first on the Japanese iTunes chart.

Kim will start touring the world with a concert in New York on August 30. Then he will meet his nationwide fans in Asia, North and South Americas, and Europe.

SHINee’s Taemin’s teaser image for new Japanese single ‘Dazzling Girl’ revealed

Earlier last week, it was announced by EMI Music Japan that boy group SHINee would be releasing a new and original Japanese single, Dazzling Girl, on October 10th.

Dazzling Girl marks SHINee’s second Japanese single of the year, as they released Sherlock back in May. The official Japanese website for SHINee has been updated to reveal a teaser image of maknae Taemin, who indeed dazzles in his black and white image. He most certainly isn’t the innocent, cute maknae who debuted four years ago, but instead, he emits a mature aura and stares deeply into the camera.

Girl group 4minute will invade Japan once again.

The group will release their new EP Love Tension on August 22 in Japan. They will fly to Japan on August 20 and promote the single by appearing on TV and giving several interviews.

The title song “Love Tension,” which includes electronic sounds and melodic refrain, was written by popular songwriter Kim Do Hoon. The song also includes both major and minor codes.

4minute finished performing “Volume Up” in May and is now ready to perform in Japan. Their Japanese single “Ready Go,” which was released last year, drew a lot of attention by playing in a Japanese series. The group will hold various promotion using various medial outlets this time.

4minute previously released a jacket photo for their new single. In the photo, the members are wearing nude toned clothes and showing off their feminine charms.

It has been eight months since they released their last single “Ready Go” in December of last year. The new EP includes four tracks, including the Japanese version of the song “Volume Up.”

Their fashion stood out the most. Kara displayed their sexy curves by wearing white jumpsuits and golden belts, revealing their slim waists. On top of that, they showed off their shapely legs.
