A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji will throw the first pitch in her hometown, Busan



The retro girl group A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji will be visiting her hometown to throw the first pitch.
Jung will be pitching for the baseball game between Lotte Giants and Samsung Lions that will be held at Sajik Baseball Stadium on September 27. Park Chorong will be on the ground as well as a hitter.
A publicist of Jung revealed to Starnews, “She is very excited to visit her homeland even with her hectic schedule. She will be meeting with the baseball fans of her hometown before Chuseok.”
Currently, Jung played the female lead on tvN’s Answer Me 1997 and became the center of retro style. In spite of it being her first act, she received positive reviews.
Jung will soon be debuting as a musical actress.
She will be playing the role of the female lead Elle Wooz of the musical Legally Blonde which will premier in November.

Psy meets Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Google



Singer Psy recently met Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Google.
On September 27, Psy tweeted a picture with the comment in English, “How the world did I meet and have fun with the chairman of Google!”
The picture, in which Psy and Eric are intimately posing together, was taken when Psy visited Google Korea in Gangnam, Seoul on the same day.
Eric gave Psy a bunch of flowers and a frame of the Google Doodle (logo). On the other hand, Psy gave him his EP and taught him how to do the”Gangnam Style” dance.
The song recently surprised the public by ranking second on the Billboard Hot 100, following Maroon 5′s “One More Night.”

SNSD’s Yoona shows off her slim figure at the airport



Hallyu idol group SNSD appeared at Incheon International Airport on September 21 to fly to Jakarta, Indonesia, where they attended the SM Town Live World Tour III on September 22.
Even thought there were many female idol stars from SM Entertainment, SNSD’s Yoona drew the most attention with her innocent fashion style.
She showed off her slim and beautiful legs in shorts and low shoes. She also wore a simple and chic navy jacket paired with a white sweater . Her casual yet modern airport fashion received considerable attention.
The SM Town Live World Tour III began on May 20 in California, the United States. Then the concert was held in Tokyo, Japan on August 4 and 5 and in Seoul on August 18.

Psy ranks second on the Billboard: “Getting to the top of the world”



International singer Psy recently set another new record by ranking second on the Billboard Chart.
Psy’s “Gangnam Style” ranked second on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. He entered the charts at sixty-fourth and then he ranked eleventh last week for the first time as a Korean singer. He also moved up five places to eleventh place and ranked second.
The official ranking will be released on September 28 (Korean time) but it was pre-released on September 27 through Billboard magazine Billboard Biz. When Psy held a press conference on September 25 in Korea, he promised, “If I rank first on the Billboard, I will perform “Gangnam Style” half naked.” His public promise will be carried out soon.
Beloved international group Maroon 5′s “One More Night” ranked first for two weeks in a row. Musical officials are wondering what will happen to the ranking between the group and Psy next week.

2NE1′s Sandara Park is currently thinking about her hairstyle.

SNSD top the Oricon daily singles chart



SNSD recently topped the Oricon daily singles chart and DVD chart.
According to the Oricon Chart issued on September 26, SNSD topped the daily singles chart with the Japanese version of “Oh!”
SNSD also topped the Oricon daily DVD chart with the Girls’ Generation Complete Video Collection.
SNSD are one of the top singing groups in Japan, but they unfortunately haven’t topped the Oricon weekly singles chart yet.
In just one week, SNSD sold a total of 44,907 copies of their Japanese debut single, which was released on October 20 in 2010, but they ranked second on the Oricon weekly singles chart, beaten by Arashi, who released their new album around the same time.
SNSD also sold more than 100,000 copies of “Mr. Taxi” in the first week after its release. It was released in April 2011. Again, it ranked second again, beaten by Jang Keun Suk’s “Let Me Cry.”
Nevertheless, there are not many singers or singing groups that can compete against SNSD now.
SKE48′s single, which ranked second on the Oricon daily singles chart, was released on September 19, a week before SNSD released their new single, and other singles are more than one-third lower in sales than “Oh!”
SNSD are currently promoting their new single in Japan.

Big Bang once again does it! All tickets sold out in Hong Kong!



Big Bang showed off their popularity across the globe.
On September 26, according to a Chinese Media, Morning Post, 35,000 tickets of Big Bang’s solo concert, which is to be held on December 8 in Hong Kong, were sold out in less than one hour.
The media reveals, “Big Bang’s tickets were sold out at an unbelievable speed. We decided to have another concert, but the ticketing of that concert sold out as fast as the previous one.”
Therefore, Big Bang’s concert are sold out once again after their ticketing in the U.S. They are showing how popular and how strong their brand power is because they have not done a single promotion in those countries.
The ticketing of Big Bang’s world tour, Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012 that was held at California and New Jersey on September 22, was also sold out in less than two hours.
Big Bang is preparing for the concert at California’s Honda Center on September 3, and at New Jersey Prudential Center on September 9, which are popular stages for world-renowned pop stars.
Besides the U.S and Hong Kong, Big Bang’s tickets have all been sold out in Korea, Japan(5 cities), China(3 cities), Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, and Malaysia. Most of those countries have had 10,000 seats, and it was Big Bang’s first visit to their countries.
Big Bang’s world tour that has been hosted by the world-renowned performing company, Live Nation, received positive reviews with their fancy videos and high quality live performances.
Starting from September 28 at Singapore, Big Bang will be heading on a world tour until December.

B1A4’s first exclusive concert to be held in December



The male “idol” group B1A4 (composed of Jinyoung, Baro, Sandeul, CNU, and Gongchan) is to hold its first exclusive concert.
The concert along, with a fan meeting, is to take place on the 8th and the 9th of December at the Olympic Handball Arena in the Seoul Olympic Park. It is the group’s first exclusive concert since its debut.
B1A4 debuted with an EP titled Let’s Fly in 2011, and after a year and seven months, they are finally holding an exclusive concert. The group has advanced dramatically among its peer “idol” groups and has received a rookie award.
Also, the group has been busy giving performances both at home and abroad.
In June this year, the boys officially debuted in Japan and ranked in the upper rankings on the Oricon chart as well as in first place on the daily rankings of Tower Records, turning on a green light for their activities abroad.
