On May 2, the group’s agency, Cube Entertainment, said that BTOB will release the digital single “Father” on May 3 at midnight, on several online music sites . The song is a part of the ‘Sensitive Human Project Part 1.’
The song is a ballad to thank and express love to fathers. It portrays sad feelings towards a father when looking at him, who walks with a heavy step, from behind.
A spokesperson for the agency says, “The song expanded the feelings of love, which is the biggest theme for pop songs, the love of family. Dramatic lyrics and emotional vocals complemented the sad song.
The song is written by Lim Sang Hyuk, who wrote the song “Because You’re My Man,” sang by G.NA, for MBC’s series The Greatest Love. The spokesperson says, “Since BTOB is an emotional group, they thanked their fathers through the song. They will perform the song for about 1 to 2 weeks.”
