U-KISS releases ‘STOP GIRL’ MV in black-and-white

At noon KST on September 20th, U-KISS has returned with their 7th mini-album STOP GIRL.
The group has been quite busy this past year, not only releasing two Japanese singles, with a third one on its ways, but also releasing two Korean mini-albums earlier this year. STOP GIRL marks U-KISS’ third Korean promotions, though they are going this round of promotions without rapper AJ, who is currently taking a leave to study at Columbia in the United States.
The MV has been released in black-and-white on YouTube and in color through music sites such as Bugs and melOn. Fans should be pleased at this concept as the members take on a new sound and a chic, confident look as they croon “Stop girl in the name of love”.

U-Kiss releases teaser images for its new EP, Stop Girl

Before returning to TV, the “idol” group U-Kiss has released teaser images.
On September 12, the group consecutively revealed individual teaser images on Twitter and Facebook, announcing its return to the industry.
In the pictures, each member is posing under a bright spotlight with an indifferent facial expression. The way they pose seems to be just sufficient to sport their own masculine charm. The images look as if they were professionally shot for a magazine.
Netizens who saw the posting reacted: “They look like the ‘cold boys from the city!’ I’m so looking forward to their new music.” “I’m excited for their teaser clip tomorrow.” “I want to hear the song asap. I’m so looking forward to see what kind of music they came up with.”
The group’s new album Stop Girl which is scheduled to be released on September 20 is classified as a pop with hip-hop beat. The composer Ryan Jhun who worked on the group’s second official album, Neverland, also participated in the current project.
Before the release of the new EP, the boys will pre-release the teaser of the title track “Stop Girl” on September 13 on YouTube.

U-KISS reveals last ‘STOP GIRL’ teasers featuring Hoon and Dongho

The last individual teasers for U-KISS’ 7th mini-album STOP GIRL have finally been unveiled.
Since a couple days ago, the group has been releasing teasers in pairs (Kiseop/Eli, Soohyun/Kevin), and now the final pair featuring Hoon and Dongho have been revealed.
Like their fellow members before them, both Hoon and Dongho bask under the bright camera light while dressed in snazzy outfits. Two things of interest have been noted: 1) each featured pair stands under the lights in different settings – Kiseop, Kevin, and Hoon stand against a dark blue background while Eli, Soohyun, and Dongho stand against a purple-burgundy background; 2) the same groupings wear similar outfit tops, perhaps providing for some sort of theme.
U-KISS will release the MV teaser for STOP GIRL on September 13th at 12PM and the mini-album on September 20th.

U-Kiss Kevin, Kiseop and Eli battle for sexiness?

U Kiss Dongho’s nickname is “casanova”?

U Kiss’s Dongho who showed off his acting skills on Holy Land that ended on May 19, covered the back page of men’s magazine, Maxim with his tough charms.
After shooting the pictorial in a leisurely manner since he debuted five years ago, he confidently and honestly participated in the interview.
When he was asked if he was ever injured during the shooting of Holy Land, he started by saying, “Yes, I got hurt a lot of times.” He also added, “When I had to break a piece of lumber, I hurt my ankle because I kicked it at the opposite site from where other actor made cracks. Not only that, if you look carefully in the poster of Holy Land, there is a scar on my nose. I got that scar during the shooting of the series.”
He smiled and said, “I never fought once in my life, but I pretty much did all the actions in Holy Land. I only used a stand-in only for the most dangerous scenes. It would be interesting to try and find the stand-in on the series.”
When the reporter asked, “Why does your ideal type change so often?” He replied, “Well, when someone asks me, ‘Is she pretty?’ I can’t say, ‘No, she’s not pretty at all.’ Thanks to that, I now have a nickname ‘Casanova.’” When he was asked about his current ideal type, he responded, “No comment.”
He also candidly confessed, “I now want to show off my manliness and my strong charms to the fans.” Dongho also shared his story about how he made money from stock marketing, starting to knit as a hobby, and the distribution of profit among the members.
Dongho’s pictorial and his interview will be available on the July edition of Maxim.
