Super Junior’s Eunhyuk released his family picture on Parents’ Day.

On May 8, Eunhyuk uploaded a picture of himself with his parents on his Twitter account with the comment, “I love you, dad and mom! I suppose you’re really fortunate because you have a son like me! I also want to have a son like me in the future. I cannot forget your smiling faces after you got some money from me. I worked really hard for it so don’t waste it, please!”

In the picture, Eunhyuk is pointing at carnation corsages he put on his parents. As it was a meaningful day, he’s staring at the camera with a bright smile on his face. Eunhyuk is especially attracting attention with his face that resembles his mother.

People responded: “It’s nice to see you with your parents,” “I love your family picture,” “He really looks like his mother.”

SHINee dances to Lee Hyo Ri’s “U Go Girl”

SHINee recently transformed into Lee Hyo Ri.

In the second special episode of SHINee’s  Week Idol, which will air on May 9, the group will show their magical choreography.

The reason people call it magical choreography is even though the group dances to other songs, it matches perfectly by keeping time with their choreography.

Several parodied videos, in which SHINee dances to IU’s “Good Day,” B2ST’s “Mystery,” and Lee Hyo Ri’s “U Go Girl.” were spread online.

The group, however, showed their magical choreography on the show for the first time. They performed their song “Replay” to Lee Hyo Ri’s “U Go Girl.”

Group members made cute faces while performing just like Lee Hyo Ri. They said, “It feels like the song is our song.”

The show will air on Wednesday, May 9, at 6:00 p.m.

KARA beats Aoi Yu in Japanese popularity ranking

Group KARA is very popular in Japan.

Video Research, a Japanese marketing research company, recently did a survey on the popularity of celebrities in Japan and KARA ranked 28th.

The survey included all celebrities who work in Japan. KARA is the only foreign star in the list among popular Japanese stars, including, Aoi Yu and Nagasawa Masami.

The ranking is well known as data on directing advertisements among advertising experts. KARA is currently working as a representative for Japanese companies in various fields, including, hairdye, food and beverages,  medicine, and confectionery.

Japanese advertising experts say, “We like KARA members because each of them has different characteristics. And they try hard to speak accurate Japanese.”

People responded: “KARA is so popular in Japan.” “I can’t believe that KARA is more popular than Aoi Yu.” “KARA is amazing.” “I didn’t know that KARA was so popular.” “KARA proved that they are popular.”

KARA will start holding their concert on May 16 in Tokyo and Saitama.

B.A.P is popular in Russia? “Warrior” flash mob is popular on YouTube

B.A.P has become popular in Russia.

On May 2, allkpop.com, an English K-pop website, reported on B.A.P’s popularity and said that the group’s song “Power” is very popular in Russia.

The song ranked 10th on YouTube music charts in Russia and it was also selected as the Best Foreign Clip by the ‘Russia Top 30.’

They also posted a flash mob, in which Russian people performed B.A.P’s debut song “Warrior” on April 14.

Over twenty Russian people performed an almost perfect cover dance in the street and received an ovation from their fans.

Even though B.A.P is a new group, they showed their power in the iTunes hip hop album chart and ranked 10th on the Billboard world album chart. The group, who proved their popularity in Russia, is increasingly appealing to people as a new K-pop star.

Wearing glasses, Yoo Chun is smiling brightly. He not only looks younger, but has similar images of the upright Yoo Jae Seok.

IU reveals teaser for “End of Day”

Teaser for the title track “End of Day” of IU’s new single Spring for a Twenty-Year-Old was finally released.

Her agency Loen Entertainment uploaded the clip on its official channel of YouTube on May 9.

The teaser has beautiful scenery of Venice, Italy, in the background, and an abundant melody of string instruments fades in, grabbing attention. The star sports a comfortable look as of a tourist. Her milky skin radiates along with her natural, but lively charm.

By the end of the teaser, IU looks straight into the camera with an excited look, but short of breath, after running hard. Her curious expression soon merges with her sensational voice, bringing up fans’ expectations.

Her new song “End of Day” was composed by Park Keun Tae and Kim Do Hun and written by Kim Yi Na. It successfully expresses IU’s lively sensitivity and cheerful voice.

Fans who saw the video revealed their expectations through the comments: “The lively melody goes well with spring.” “I think it’s going to be another big hit followed by ‘Good Day’ and ‘You and I.’” “The song goes well with IU. I want to hear the full track.”

SNSD’s Yoona showed off her wits.

Yoona made a surprise appearance on the recording of KBS 2TV’s Happy Together 3, which will air on May 10 at 11:15 p.m. The guests of the broadcast were Jessica, Taeyeon, and Tiffany. However, Yoona visited the studio during the recording and surprised the members. It has been said that she visited the studio because she had a recording of Love Rain nearby.

U-Kiss is invited to a music festival in South America

U-Kiss will attend EVENTO 40, the biggest music festival in South America, on May 12. Including Shakira, the top 15 singers and singing groups in South America will attend the festival.

Because of the K-pop boom in South America, U-Kiss was invited to the festival as a representative Asian singing group along with other famous singers in South America, such as Shakira.

After the Colombian media heard the news that U-Kiss will perform at the festival, they started paying attention to what kind of performance U-Kiss will give at the festival. The festival is sponsored by CaracolTV Principales, which is the biggest private broadcast in Colombia, and it will air all over Colombia and in some major countries in Central and South America.

The South American fans are excited about the news, and some fans even announced that they will come to the airport early to get the best spot to see U-Kiss when they walk in.

miss A’s Suzy allegedly made some reckless remarks.

In the May 7 episode of KBS’s public talk show Hello, Suzy, Sayuri, and Shin Bo Ra appeared as guests to consult the audience.

MCs for the show asked Suzy, “We don’t think you have any worries because your movie and other your works have become very successful. Do you have any worries?” Suzy answered, “I laugh a lot now but I think I laugh little less as I grow older.”

The MCs fell into a state of lethargy and Jung Chan Woo, one of the MCs, made people laugh by saying, “Are you saying that we (old people) should die?”

On the show, a mixed martial arts fighter named Yook Jin Soo appeared and said that he is easily moved to tears.

Hyun Bin sighted in trendy part of town

Just one day after it was revealed that actor Hyun Bin was on vacation from the compulsory military service in the Marine Corps, the star has been spotted shopping in Apgujeong, southern Seoul.
The actor was dressed down and incognito, sporting sweatpants, a hooded shirt and a hat as he made his way around the upscale neighborhood, best known for its trendy boutiques.

Various pictures entitled “Hyun Bin Apgujeong” began appearing online from May 8 and the 29-year-old entertainer was captured on camera a day earlier, looking at bags at a store.
According to the source who uploaded the pictures of the star, Hyun Bin was out shopping for his parents for Parents’ Day which falls on May 8.

“What a lovely son,” said one netizen while others praised him for having maintained his good looks despite rigorous training in the Marines.

Sandara Park and SHINee parody a poster of the movie Korea—absolutely hilarious

2NE1’s Sandara Park and SHINee’s Minho recently released a poster parodying a poster of the movie Korea , directed by Moon Heon Sung.

In the parody poster that was released on May 7, Sandara appears as the role played by Ha Ji Won and Minho as the role played by Bae Doo Na. In the movie, Ha appears as Hyun Jeong Hwa, a South Korean Olympic table tennis medalist and Bae as Lee Boon Hee, a North Korean table tennis player. Both Dara and Minho put on charismatic look like the two actress.

Also, in the parody poster, the caption says, “In 2012, the first united idol group by 2NE1 and SHINee. Cool challenges during the summer.” Compare to the caption that was written on original poster: “In 1991, the first united table tennis team by North and South Korea. Beautiful challenges for the 46 days.”

Moreover, in the lower part of the poster, Dara and members of SHINee are lined up wearing pink jackets.

The hilarious poster is from a commercial for a cosmetic brand Sandara and SHINee are modeling. The models serious look is adding fuels to the already popular parody poster. The commercial will be released on May 11.

Infinite’s new song “Only Tears” was recently released and is sweeping various K-pop chart.
At the midnight of May 8, “Only Tears,” the title from Infinite’s new album was recently released prior to their new album release, and has been boosting expectation for the showcases held starting from May 15.
The song ranked fist on Cyworld, second on Soribada, third on Melon, and Bug Music on second, proving the group’s considerable popularity.

The song has been partly released as Sung Kyu’s solo performance during the ‘Second Invasion-Evolution Concert held on April 1. However, the song that will be released this time is participated in by all the group members and show their variety of charms.
