Taetiseo members are lovely goddesses

SNSD’s unit group Taetiseo recently took a pictorial and drew a lot of attention.

Taetiseo took a pictorial, which will be included in the July edition of the fashion magazine Elle Girl. The group, who won popularity with their song “Twinkle,” appeared in the Korean version of the magazine cover for the first time as a Korean star.

Taeyeon said, “Since we represented SNSD, we felt burdened but we tried to enjoy performing the song.” Tiffany said, “I selected the color red because I was reminded of Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge.”

When Seohyun asked what is the most beautiful memory that she made when she was a teenager, she replied, “When I was a trainee with group members, we worked hard everyday to achieve the same goal.”

Besides Taetiseo, CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun, who appears on SBS’s series A Gentleman’s Dignity, Jung Yoo Mi, JJ Project, B2ST’s Jang Hyun Seung, who appears in the musical Mozart, will also appear in the July edition of the magazine.

SNSD-Tae Ti Seo top May’s Gaon Chart

SNSD-Tae Ti Seo have topped the Gaon’s monthly album chart by selling nearly 140,000 copies of their album.

According to May’s Gaon Chart, SNSD-Tae Ti Seo ranked first on the album chart of the month with their mini-album Twinkle by selling 139,388 copies. As the lead track, “Twinkle,” also ranked the Digital Chart, they topped both the on and offline charts.

JYJ’s XIA ranked second with his first solo album Tarantallegra (122,000 copies sold) and Infinite ranked third with their third mini-album Infinitize (88,284 copies sold).

Adding 32,838 copies in May, Busker Busker have sold over 100,000 copies of their first album. It made a huge hit by selling over 13 million copies of the sound sources of the tracks. It’s nowadays very unusual for a new artist to sell over 100,000 copies of their debut album.

IU ranked sixth by selling 30,975 copies of her new album Spring at the Age of Twenty in despite of the fact that it’s a single album and Ulala Session, the winner of Superstar K3, ranked seventh by selling 24,497 copies of their debut mini-album Ulala Sensation.

SNSD’s unit Taetiseo ranks first on May chart

SNSD’s unit group Taetiseo recently ranked 1st on the May chart with their song “Twinkle.”

On June 1, according to music site Melon, Taetiseo’s “Twinkle” ranked 1st on the May chart. The song is a title song from the mini album, which was released on April 30 by Taetiseo, composed of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun.

Among girl groups, SISTAR’s “Alone” ranked 2nd, 4minute’s “Volume Up” ranked 7th, Girl’s Day’s “Oh! My God” ranked 31st, and A pink’s “Hush” ranked 33rd. Among boy groups, Big Bang’s “Fantastic Baby” ranked 15th and Noel’s “Leaving” ranked 18th.

Busker Busker is also drawing a lot of attention by ranking 3rd on the chart with their song “Cherry Blossom Ending.” The song has ranked 1st on April chart and other songs from their album entered the Top 50 in May. “First Love” ranked 9th, “Yeosu Night Sea” ranked 13th, “The Flower” ranked 17th, “Loneliness Amplifier” ranked 25th, “Ideal Type” ranked 26th, and “Calling You” ranked 34th.

Ulala Session, who competed against Busker Busker on Mnet’s Super Star K 3, ranked 12th with their song “Beautiful Night.”

Solo singers are also making a good fight. Baek Ji Young’s “Voice” ranked 4th, Park Jin Young’s “You’re the One” ranked 5th, IU’s “Peach” and “Every End of the Day” ranked 6th and 8th, Heo Gak’s “The Person Who Once Loved Me” ranked 10th, Ivy’s “Torn Heart” ranked 16th, and Ailee’s “Heaven” ranked 28th.

Brave Guys, composed of Shin Bo Ra, Jung Tae Ho, Park Sung Kwang, who appear on Gag Concert, ranked 24th with their song “I Don’t Care.”

TaeTiSeo recently ranks the top on Inkigayo for two weeks in a row

SNSD’s subunit, TaeTiSeo recently ranked the top on Inkigayo for two weeks in a row.

The three member group won Mutizen Song with the song “Twinkle.” The show was filmed at the SBS Hall in Seoul on May 20 and aired live.

With the winning of Mutizen Song in Inkigayo, the girl group was honored to win another crown, following the one received from KBS2’s Music Bank.

Sadly, TaeTiSeo wasn’t able to show up on the show because of SNSD’s schedules abroad. SNSD will take part in SM Town Live World TOUR Ⅲ in Los Angeles, held at the Honda Center in California, U.S., on May 20 at 7 p.m.(local time).

Having released on April 28, TaeTiSeo’s first mini-album set a record of ranking 126th on the Billboard 200 Album Chart, which was the first and the highest ranking by a Korean act.

SNSD’s Seohyun sends text message to her teacher for Teacher’s Day

SNSD’s Seohyun (real name Seo Joo Hyun) drew a lot of attention by sending a text message to her teacher for Teacher’s Day.

An online community posted a picture with the caption, “Seohyun sent a message to one of her old teachers for Teacher’s Day.”

In the picture, Seohyun is saying, “Teacher, I miss you. I’m sorry that I couldn’t visit and say hello to you for Teacher’s Day. I will visit you and bring my album when I finish performing. I love you.”

Her old class teacher responds to Seohyun by saying, “Wow, Taetiseo. I’m enjoying your song. I’m always proud of you.”

Taetiseo makes an ‘all-kill’ on music broadcasts

The fabulous ladies of TaeTiSeo have demonstrated the star power of Hallyu super-group Girl’s Generation by sweeping the weekend music broadcasts.

As of today, TaeTiSeo’s hit single “Twinkle” has hit #1 on network broadcasts KBS2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ and SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘, as well as cable programs such as Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown‘ and MBC MUSIC‘s ‘Show! Champion‘.

Furthermore, the mini-album ‘Twinkle‘ is also demonstrating its hit status by retaining the number 1 spot on the physical album charts, extending its dominance to two consecutive weeks at number 1 since its release.

“Twinkle” has been receiving much love for its fun combination of throwback funky sounds with modern dance sounds. The loveable ladies were able to showcase their mature vocals and grooves in this particular hit, which marked a contrast in style from the past hits of Girl’s Generation.

TaeTiSeo’s new song downloaded over 600,000 times

SNSD’s unit group TaeTiSeo has ranked at the top of a download chart.

According to Gaon Chart on May 10, the title track of TaeTiSeo’s first mini-album, “Twinkle,” was at the top of a download chart for the second week of May.

The music chart says, “The number of downloading for TaeTiSeo’s ‘Twinkle’ reaches 604,870.”

The group has already grabbed attention for being the first unit group of SNSD. It continues to build reputation with its sophisticated, soulful dance song by giving more emphasis on each member’s distinctive voice.

Last week, Park Jin Young ranked at the top of the download chart leaving “idol” singers behind him. However, he was placed second this week with his new song “You’re the One.” Weekly download hits for this song record 320,845.

His previous song, “Someone Else,” which ranked first last week dropped to sixth with 220,231 hits on download.

IU’s pre-released single “Peach” made its way to the third with the number of 293,888 on download. It became very popular because the singer herself composed it. On the 11th of May, she will release her single Spring of a Twenty-Year-Old.

Ivy’s “Torn Heart” was on the ninth last week, but it went up five rankings to the fourth. Its download hits marked 276,535. The fifth, seventh, and eighth were followed by Sistar’s “Alone” (270,089 downloads), December’s new track “She’s Gone” (204,109 downloads), and Busker Busker’s “Cherry Blossom Ending” (190,404 downloads).

In the meantime, the top ranking of the album chart for April belongs to the rookie group of SM Entertainment, EXO-K; its first mini-album Mama sold over 61,333 copies. The other team EXO-M’s Mama ranked sixth with the sales record of 32,022 copies.

SNSD-Tae Ti Seo enter the top five on the Billboard World Albums Chart for two weeks

Tae Ti Seo, SNSD’s first unit group, entered the top five on the Billboard World Albums Chart for two consecutive weeks with their debut mini-album.

On May 11, the latest chart of the Billboard showed that Tae Ti Seo’s first mini-album Twinkle ranked fifth on the Billboard World Albums Chart. The lead track of the album “Twinkle” was released on iTunes on April 28.

It has dropped to fifth from first last week. However, it entered the top five for two consecutive weeks and proved SNSD’s popularity on a global scale.

Tae Ti Seo ranked 126th on the Billboard 200, the main chart of the Billboard, with Twinkle last week. It was the best record of all Korean artists’. However, they failed to enter the top 200 this time.

Tae Ti Seo’s Twinkle also ranked 27th on Heatseekers Albums Chart, which ranks the latest albums of new artists.

SNSD’s youngest member Seohyun’s manner-hand shows her thoughtfulness

Seohyun who is in SNSD’s unit TaeTiSeo(also known as TTS), is creating a stir with her manner-hand.

Previously on May 3 when TTS were waiting outside during Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News, Seohyun held onto Tiffany’s short skirt when the wind almost flew her skirt up.

TaeTiSeo, SNSD’s subunit, topps the Olleh Music Chart for the first week of May

TaeTiSeo, SNSD’s subunit, ranked the top on the Olleh Music Chart for the first week of May.

“TaeTiSeo topped the Weekly Chart with the song ‘Twinkle’ for the first week of May (from April 29th to May 5th),” a source from Olleh Music stated.

Last week’s topper Sistar gave its no. 1 spot ranked second. Sistar ranked the top for the last two weeks in a row with the song, “Alone.” IVY ranked third with the song “Broken Heart,” proving female artists’ strong presence.

Elsewhere on the chart, Busker Busker ranked in the upper tier with multiple songs, including “Cherry Blossom Ending (no.4)” and “First Live(no.10),” proving its undying popularity.

The founder of JYP Entertainment, Park Jin Young also makes a frantic dash to no. 1 spot, ranking two of his new songs in no. 5 and no.9.

Taetiseo, SNSD’s unit group, is getting a lot of attention thanks to their innocent looks.

On May 7, pictures of the group members were posted on MBC radio FM4U Hopeful Songs of Noon Sweet Sorrow‘s official Twitter account with the comment, “Taetiseo arrived. See you soon! They are beautiful.”

In the pictures, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun look innocent even though they are wearing light makeup. They captured the public’s attention even in comfortable clothes.
