On July 19, Jang tweeted a picture with the comment, “I’m leaving now.”

In the picture, Jang is wearing big framed sunglasses and smiling. His cute red bow tie received considerable attention from the public.

People responded: “He is cute! Have a safe trip.” “The red bow tie is cute.” “I love your sunglasses.” “I hope you have a safe trip.”

On the same day, Jang announced to people that he is on his way to Japan by tweeting, “A gift is flying to Japan.”

Asia Prince, Jang Keunsuk, posted several selcas of him via his Twitter account while holding a newspaper and a bottle of wine in the streets of Champs-Elysees. The said newspaper is the New York Herald Tribune.

Actor Jang Keun Suk is about to actualize his dream to become the world prince.

On July 10, Tree J Company, Jang’s agency, reported that Jang was warmly received by people in Paris on July 9.

Jang’s visit to Paris was not an official one. However, his fans came to the airport to see Jang after hearing the news that Jang was going to come to Paris.

The fans swarmed over to Charles de Gaulle Airport were mostly European fans.

They shouted “Jang Keun Suk” and “I love you” in clumsy Korean. Because there were too many fans, Jang had a hard time getting out of the airport.

Jang hasn’t officially debuted in Europe yet; however, he has caught European people’s interest through SNS and his official YouTube channel.

Jang started going on concert tour of Asia on July 7, starting in Seoul under the title of The CRI SHOW 2 in Seoul. He will continue the tour at Yokohama Arena on July 21 and 22.

Jang Keun Suk publishes his personal magazine CRI-J in Japan

Actor Jang Keun Suk is publishing the season 2/02 of his personal magazine CRI-J in Japan on July 10.

CRI-J is a specialized magazine for Jang, which is published four times a year in Japan. It was published in April, July, and October last year and January this year. The season one of the magazine was really popular in Japan that its sales volume was incomparable to that of any Hallyu actors’ personal magazines, which was over 24,000 copies.

As many people requested for the second season, Jang decided to publish the season two of CRI-J.

Jang Keun Suk starts ‘The Cri Show 2′ in Seoul

Actor Jang Keun Suk will start touring Asia in Seoul.

On June 14, Jang’s agency, Tree J. Company, said that he ’2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour’ will start on July 7 at Korea University in Seoul.

The news has already made many Korean fans and Asian fans excited and purchase the tickets in advance. The tickets for the tour will start being on sale on June 14 at 8 o’clock by Auction in Korea and on June 18 at 8 o’clock abroad.

Jang Keun Suk sweeps Japanese Oricon chart

Actor Jang Keun Suk recently captured the Japanese Oricon chart.

On June 5, according to Jang’s agency, Tree J. Company, Jang’s first Japanese regular album Just Crazyranked first on the Oricon weekly chart.

Jang released the album on May 30 and ranked first on the Oricon daily chart. The album ranked first on both the daily and weekly chart by selling 88,000 copies in the first week of its release.

It has been a long time since a male solo to ranked first with his first album. Japanese singer Moriyama Naotaro ranked first 8 years ago in 2004. Jang is also the first foreign solo artist to rank first on the chart. Scatman John from the U.S. ranked second in 1995 and Korean singer K also ranked second in 2006.

Jang’s first single Let Me Cry, which was released in April of last year, ranked first on the Oricon daily and weekly charts. As a result, both his first single and regular albums ranked first on the chart.

Jang is the third solo singer to rank first on the Oricon weekly chart with his first single and regular albums. He set a new record 17 years and 4 months after Uchida Yuki released her single in 1994 and regular album in 1995.

Jang Keun Suk takes China by storm

Prince of Asia, Jang Keun Suk, recently captured China.

Jang visited China on May 30 to promote a Chinese drink brand. Many people and major local outlets gathered to see him and brought the Airport to a halt. His fans proved that he is very popular in China by welcoming him and calling out his name.

On May 31, various events were held for the brand and they announced Jang and Park Min Young were selected as representatives for the brand. The event aired live online throughout the world.

Jang Keun-suk No. 1 in one day

Hallyu actor-turned-singer Jang Keun-suk released his solo debut album on May 30 in Japan.

The 11-track album entitled “Just Crazy” usurped the No. 1 spot on Tower Records’ chart, after 130,000 copies of the album were pre-ordered before the release.
The album is being heralded as a mix of classic and British rock.

The track “200 Miles” from the album will also be the opening song to Japanese animation “Fairy Tail” to open in cinemas on Aug. 18.
Meanwhile the title track “Crazy Crazy Crazy” was released in April and was the No. 1 song on the weekly Oricon chart.
“Let Me Cry” was designated as the commercial song for Suntory’s line of makgeolli.

Jang will kick off his “2012 Jang Keun-suk Asia Tour — The Cri Show 2” in Seoul in July and take to Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand.

Jang Keun Suk leaves SNSD’s Yoona on Love Rain

Jang Keun Suk unwillingly left SNSD’s Yoona on Love Rain.

In the episode of KBS 2TV’s drama series Love Rain that aired on May 1, Jun (played by Jang Keun Suk) said good-bye to Hana (played by Yoona), hiding the fact that In Ha was his father, as he found out that she sincerely wanted her mother Yoon Hee (played by Lee Mi Sook) to be happy with In Ha (played by Jung Jin Young).

However, Hana didn’t know that it was Jun’s decision for her and everyone else, and she endlessly cried. Jun hurt Hana by saying harsh words but he also had a hard time because of what he said to her.

In the episode, Jun came to Hana drunk and gave her a hug. He looked at her with affectionate eyes but said, “I don’t feel anything.”

As Hana asked, “You really don’t feel anything? For real?” in tears, Jun said, “Don’t bug me and don’t make me be mean to you. Let’s finish here.”

Leaving Hana alone, Jun got in his car. However, he soon came back to her and increased the viewers’ curiosity.

The viewers responded: “Jun has to hide his real feeling and Hana cannot leave him. I cried a lot because of them,” “Jang Keun Suk’s detailed performance was really awesome! I felt like my heart would burst,” “I cried a lot at the scene of Jang Keun Suk hugging Yoona and crying,” “Yoon Hee and In Ha are happy now, but Jun and Hana are unhappy. On ‘Love Rain,’ Jang Keun Suk plays an evil spirit

Jang Keun Suk has come to life again.

Jang is getting a lot of attention from in and outside of Korea, including Japan, by appearing on KBS’s seriesLove Rain as a lead actor. But the audience rating was lower than what was expected.

The series received single digit audience rating and placed at the bottom among other TV dramas airing at the same time. The series, composed of 20 episodes, has aired 10 episodes so far. The average audience rating is 5.0 percent, which is a very disappointing result. MBC’s series Light and Shadow, received 20 percent of the average audience rating and ranked first.

Love Rain is about a man and woman who shared unfulfilled love in the 70s who will fall in love each other in 2012. Jang is playing the double role from the 70s and in 2012.

Some people say the series is old-fashioned and some people say that Jang looks awkward acting like a model student in the 70s.

However, the officials for the series are consenting to the reviews. They were supposed to air 5 to 6 episodes featuring the 70s but they only aired 4 episodes. From the 5th episode, Jang and SNSD’s Yoona are performing modern characters.

In the 70s, Jang played the classic guitar and studied hard. But in 2012, he transformed into a licentious photographer saying, “I can attract any girls in three seconds if I want to.” People say Jang has come to life again. He is playing the role of an arrogant and menacing icon who can kill people with words.

He says, “No one made my heart flutter but I like you. So you have to be my girlfriend.” His obstinate love captured Yoona in the series.

A spokesperson for the series says, “We consented to the audience saying the 70s is old fashioned and boring. So we jumped into 2012, where Jang can show off his charms.”

Even though Jang is showing off his evil spirit, the audience is hardly changing their minds. The low audience rating makes the officials draw a deep breath.

In the 2nd episode of Love Rain, which aired on March 27, In Ha (Jang Keun Suk) is portrayed expressing his heart to Yoon Hee (Yoona) through a game of archery.

Enjoying a festival with a group of a circle memners, Hye Jung stops in front of a cupid game. The cupid game is a game for a couple, in which one write down a name of his or her loved one on a sketchbook and shoots an arrow on it. If the one hits the target, it is believed that the couple’s love will go on forever, and they get a doll as a gift. In Ha gets involved in the game by Hye Jung’s urging, who wants to get a doll.

Hye Jung feels joyful at receiving a doll from In Ha, who makes it after two trials. She insists In Ha should present Yoon Hee with a doll as well. However, arrows do not help him with hitting the target easily. As Hye Sung says impatiently, “Try to do it properly,” Yoon Hee, feeling uneasy, tries to stop him, saying “You don’t’ have to. Don’t push yourself.”

Dong Wook, who also has a crush on Yoon Hee, tries to snatch the bow from In Ha, but he insists on doing it. Thereby, after three trials, In Ha finally manages to succeed it, thereby expressing his heart to Yoon Hee covertly. Jang Keun Suk’s new album is finally unveiled on March 21 in Japan

Tree J Company, Jang Keun Suk’s agency, announced on March 21 that Jang Keun Suk’s new Japanese mini album, Lounge H The First Impression, would be released on March 21.

Lovely posters for ‘Love Rain’ released

TV series Love Rain starring Jang Keun Suk, SNSD’s Yoona, Lee Mi Sook, and Jung Jin Young released their fresh, new posters.

On March 20, the production company for KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday series Love Rain released posters for the series.

Including lead actors Jang (Seo In Ha in the 70s/ Seo Joon in 2012) and Yoona (Kim Yoon Hee in the 70s/ Jung Ha Na in 2012), many actors, Lee Mi Sook (Kim Yoon Hee in 2012), Jung Jin Young (Seo In Ha in 2012), Kim Si Hoo (Lee Dong Wook in the 70s/ Lee Sun Ho in 2012), and Kim Young Kwang (Han Tae Sung in 2012) gathered together to shoot posters.
