Super Junior’s Donghae and Siwon take a picture with over 20,000 fans in the Philippines



Super Junior’s Donghae and Siwon took a picture together at their fan meeting in the Philippines.
On August 15, Donghae uploaded a picture of himself with Siwon on his Twitter account with the comment, “All 20,000 ELF (Super Junior’s fan club) members! Thank you so much for coming to the fan meeting! It’s been a while and I saw you had become a lot prettier.”
In the picture, Donghae is in a friendly pose with Siwon with over 20,000 fans in the background.
People responded: “We’ve become prettier, too.” “I envy the fans in the Philippines.” “Super Junior is the real Hallyu singing group.”
Donghae plays the lead role of Go Seung Ji in Channel A’s new drama series Panda and Hedgehog, which will start airing on August 18.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk with Hwang Shin Hye at his birthday party



An unexpected friend of Super Junior’s Leeteuk is currently attracting a lot of attention.
On July 2, Leeteuk uploaded a picture on his Twitter account with the comment, “Shin Hye and Hwa Yeon offered me to have a dinner with them after they saw me exercising by myself at the gym on my birthday. Thank you so much, Shin Hye, Hwa Yeon, Sangchu, Donghae, Min Hyun, and Young Man!”
In the picture, Leeteuk is having a dinner with his friends. Actress Hwang Shin Hye, Cha Hwa Yeon, Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu, and Super Junior’s Donghae are with Leeteuk. Hwang and Cha especially attracted a lot of attention because they are unexpected friends of Leeteuk.

Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk rank 2nd on the Oricon chart


Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk released their first Japanese debut single Oppa, Oppa and ranked 2nd on the Oricon daily single chart and weekly chart.
On April 10, a spokesperson for Super Junior said, “The single, which was released on April 4 in Japan, ranked 2nd on both the Oricon daily single chart and weekly chart.”
Even though they didn’t promote the single at all in Japan, it ranked 2nd after Japanese rock band B’z. The single also ranked first on the single chart (4.2.2012-4.8.2012) of Tower Records, one of the biggest record chains in Japan, and proved that the song is very popular in Japan.
In addition, since the single sold out at several record shops even on the day of its release, it was expected to be so popular.
Donghae and Eunhyuk will hold a premium live event on April 11 to celebrate the release of their first Japanese single.
Super Junior will release their third single Opera on May 9 and hold the Super Show 4 on April 12 and 13 at the Tokyo Dome.
