Kim Hyun Joong goes on tour in Singapore

Kim Hyun Joong has begun his Singapore tour.

On May 3, Kim’s agency, Key East, said that Kim arrived in Singapore on May 2 to begin his ‘Fan Meeting Tour 2012.’

Singapore is the first destination of Kim’s fan meeting tour where he will meet fans from all over the world.

Even though Kim arrived in Singapore on a weekday during the day, hundreds of people gathered at the Airport to see Kim. They brought a halt to Airport traffic and the surrounding areas.

The fans brought various flash cards and presents and gave Kim hearty cheers. Kim smiled at the fans and thanked them.

Kim attended a press conference and said that he is very confidence in his tour and performances for the fan meetings. He also gave honest answers about his acting and singing career.

Local media outlets reported on Kim, saying he is modest, even though he is a hallyu star, and talked about the preparation for his tour and first concert.

Kim will hold his first concert on May 4 at an Indoor Stadium in Singapore and will announce the start of his fan meeting. He will give wonderful performances with his rearranged hit songs.

Kim Hyun Joong has taken the challenge to high-five all 3,000 members in the audience at the Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012 in Singapore on 4 May 2012, aiming to break the record by any artiste performing in Singapore so far to offer the closest fan interaction for audiences during a concert. Previously only open to 500 lucky fans in the audience, Kim Hyun Joong has now personally requested to high-five all concert attendees at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, a feat never undertaken before at any concert or fan meeting.

Kim Hyun Joong will also give away one set of T-shirt and brooch of his own design, encompassing the U:ZOOSIN character, a cartoon avatar created by Kim Hyun Joong himself to everyone in the audience. This will be specially made for this fan meeting tour. Kim Hyun Joong’s official animated character U:ZOOSIN has sold 50,000 units in Korea alone, boasting approximately US$1,900,000 in sales.

“This is a very special request we’ve received, which proves Kim Hyun Joong’s immense devotion to his fans. High-five sessions are normally small, private sessions that are open to a small group of fans to interact with artistes before or after a concert. However, Kim Hyun Joong will be taking this a step further by expressing his wish to high-five every single member of the audience, breaking away from the notion that superstars of his calibre are often put on a pedestal.

Kim Hyun Joong 2012 Asia Fan Meeting in Singapore will showcase over 10 songs, slick dance moves, special effects and interactive segments in a two-hour show. Premiere seats, the seats closed to the stage have completely sold out, but fans can rest assure that good seats are still available across the Arena and Terrace categories.

he ticket details for the fanmeet was released by concert organiser for the first-ever “Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012” which will be held 4 May 2012 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

It was revealed that this will be the first-ever fan meeting with a plump programme more akin to a mini concert. There will be a limited number of 3000 tickets for sale with less than 500 premiere seats and no more than 900 arena seats. Fans can look forward to spectacular laser shows, sprawling LED screen, over 10 hit songs from his solo albums and cozy takl show segments. Moreover, lucky fans will be able go on stage and interact with Kim Hyun Joong!

Ticket sales begin 18 April at 10am with a two-day priority booking period for UOB One and UOB Debit Card Cardmembers.
