Arang and the Magistrate exported to Japan with huge price tag

MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series Arang and the Magistrate will be exported to Japan with a very high price per episode.

On August 28, MBC announced, “The series has been sold to Japan with the highest price per episode ever. Global Business Department reported it on August 27 at the meeting.”

“The series broke the record held by The Moon Embracing The Sun’s, which previously set the highest sale price record. Other TV series, including Feast of the Gods and Mooshin, will also make huge profits.”

The series is based on the Arang legend from South Gyeongsang Province. It is a fantasy romance about magistrate Eun Oh (played by Lee Joon Gi), who sees ghosts, and a female ghost named Arang (played by Shin Min Ah), who lost her memory.

Shin Min Ah’s “Arang Style” is attracting attention.

Previously on August 23, actress Shin uploaded a picture on her Me2day with the caption, “Arang Style.” She parodied Psy’s “Gangnam Style”

In the picture, Shin is smiling brightly, wearing a traditional Korean pojol outfit. In spite of dressing up like a man, she attracted attention with her cute and pretty appearance.
