2NE1 entertains 36,000 people for their first Osaka concert


2NE1 recently made a successful start by holding the first concert of their Japanese tour for 36,000 people.
The group held the ‘New Evolution’ in Osaka starting August 31 through September 2 and received an explosive response and hearty cheers from the audience.
2NE1 performed various songs, including their hit songs. They rearranged all of their songs with a live band and made the songs feel fresh and new.
Jeremy Scott designed cute clothes for the group and they received considerable attention from the Japanese fans.
2NE1 will tour several Japanese cities, including Nagoya on September 7 and 8, Yokohama on September 11, and Saitama on September 29 and 30. Then they will go to other Asian countries to hold concerts.
The group will release their single “I Love You” on September 19. The song was selected as a campaign song for a mascara product from Maybelline New York and it will air throughout the Japanese nation.
