The Wonder Girls, who came back to the music scene with “Like This” on June 6, released teaser artwork of their new digital single album, Like Money, on July 4. The teaser artwork, which hints the Wonder Girls’ extreme change, is increasing many people’s curiosity and expectations.
In March, JYP Entertainment’s Park Jin Young tweeted, “The world-renowned composers participated in the Wonder Girls’ new album and a music video, which is the largest of all music videos of the Wonder Girls in terms of scale, is also completed. There’s something you will be surprised about in the lead song. The Wonder Girls also finished both recording their new album to be released in the U.S. and shooting a music video of the lead track. Let’s have the Wonder Girls parties all over the world!”
JYP Entertainment says, “Like Money is produced by the song writer Cri$tyle, who made a lot of Billboard Chart hit songs for Rihanna and world-renowned famous artists who have over forty million fans on Facebook, and the composer Rainstone. Jonte Moaning, Beyonce’s choreographer who made choreography of “Be My Baby” and “The DJ Is Mine,” and Ethan Lader, the director of the TV movie The Wonder Girls, also participated in the album.”
This digital single album of the Wonder Girls is part of Samsung Electronics’ Global Contents Partnership, and it will be inserted in Samsung Electronics’ various mobile devices and tablet PCs, which will be exported around the world.
The producer of Like Money will be introduced at the Wonder Girls’ live concert on July 7. On July 10 at midnight, the song and its music video will be released.
