SNSD’s Seo Hyun was recently appointed the representative ambassador for UN office at the 2012 Yeosoo Expo, which opens on March 12.
In late March, Seo Hyun attended the appointed ceremony which was held at a hotel in Seoul and was provided with the appointing certificate by the Ban Gi Moon, the eighth and current Secretary-General of the United Nations.
At the ceremony, the UN officer encouraged the singer, saying, “Seo Hyun’s representing will help attract people to the UN booth and raise awareness for saving the ocean and sustainable energy resources.
The youngest of SNSD said, “I’m honored to received the appointing certificated from Secretary-General Ban, who is my role- model. I’ll do my best to spread the importance of ocean environment and resources.”
