Big Bang and 2NE1 both release albums in Japan on Mar. 28

Big Bang and 2NE1 are both releasing albums in Japan on the same day.
On March 28, Big Bang are releasing Alive and 2NE1 are releasing their first Japanese full-length album Collection.
Big Bang’s new album consists of total ten tracks including the songs from their fifth mini album Alive and two new songs, “Ego” and “Feeling.”
The new songs, “Ego” and “Feeling,” are especially attracting wide attention.
“Feeling,” which attracted wide attention as it was selected as a opening theme song of the animated TV movie series Transformer Prime, is composed by the world-renowned artist from Germany Boys Noize, G-Dragon, and T.O.P.
“Ego” also seems to attract wide attention in Japan because of its groove and appealing lyrics.
2NE1′s new album consists of total 12 songs, including their hit songs and new song “Scream.”
The remake versions of Maddona’s “Like a Virgin” and m-flo’s “She’s So (Outta Control) (Feat. 2NE1)” are also included.
“Like a Virgin,” “Scream,” and “Love is Ouch” are already decided to be used as TV Commercial songs for such brands as beverage, travel agency, and clothing brands in Japan even before the album was released.
Verbal, a member of m-flo, also participated in the new albums of Big Bang and 2NE1. Verbal wrote Japanese lyrics to Big Bang’s “Fantastic Baby” and 2NE1′s “Scream.”
Releasing albums on the same day, Big Bang and 2NE1 are also performing at Spring Groove, the biggest music festival in Japan, held in Kobe and Chiba on March 31 and April 1.

Big Bang and 2NE1 will perform at the festival as representative singing groups of Korea along with LMFAO and David Guetta.
Big Bang recently released the schedules for their tour, 2012 Big Bang Alive tour in Japan, which will be held in Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama, and Fukuoka. Even before the ticket sales began, tickets for some concerts were sold out, proving Big Bang’s high popularity in Japan.
