After School is a highflying Hallyu star

After School members, who are keeping busy in both Korea and Japan, were recently selected as representatives for a Japanese food company.
The company presents Korean food, including Bibimbap (boiled rice with assorted mixtures) and a variety of fusion foods.
After School was previously selected as a representative for Samantha Thavasa, the global handbag brand, and showed off their power as Hallyu stars. Their third Japanese single Rambling Girls, which was released in January, ranked 6th on the Oricon chart. Many Japanese companies want the group to be their representative.
After School members, who are not just members of the group but also models, have been showcasing their charms in a variety of fields. The group is also well known for their fantastic dance choreography as a performance group. They will hold their first Japanese concert in three cities in April. After School is making solid gains in Japan.
People responded: “Becoming a representative for a food company is really hard in Korea. They must be really great to become representatives for a foreign food company.” “Since they are successful in Japan, I’m so proud of them as a Korean.” “After School are queens of commercials.”
After School will release their first Japanese album Play Girlz on March 14. Then they will hold their first exclusive concert on April 27 in Tokyo, April 28 in Nagoya, and April 30 in Osaka.
