Internet shopping mall G-Market is doing a project in collaboration with Big Bang under the title of G-Market X Big Bang.
From March 26, G-Market is selling a limited amount of cell phone case sets, named Big Bang Limited Edition, which includes Big Bang’s pictures and autographs.
The Big Bang Limited Edition consists of a cell phone case and two bumpers.
G-Market is also holding a charity event called Big Bang Style Donation Project. It’s to sell the items worn by Big Bang members at the commercial shoot, and all profits from the event will be donated to children who suffer from incurable diseases.
On the market, G-Dragon’s Fantastic padded jacket, Seungri’s Fun knit&check shirt, and T.O.P’s printed jacket will be on sale.
As a part of the collaboration project, Big Bang also shot a TV commercial.
Under the concept that G-Market is starting a pleasant change with Big Bang, the commercial shows Big Bang’s lively and happy looks instead of their charismatic ones.
G-Market is also planning to hold promotional events with Big Bang such as a project with G-Dragon and another limited edition product launch.
Nam Sung Heon, a marketing director of G-Market, says, “It’s a very rare chance to meet limited edition products produced in collaboration with Big Bang. We expect many fans of Big Bang will be interested in that. Besides the cell phone case, we’re planning to launch another limited edition product that is worth to have.”
