SECRET reveals last ‘Poison’ teaser featuring Han Sunhwa

SECRET has revealed the last individual image teaser for upcoming comeback and 3rd mini-album Poison.

The last teaser features Han Sunhwa, who pulls off a completely different look, more mature and classier than fans have seen her before. Sunhwa continues the classy and sexy look that was exposed by the other members in their respective teasers and she sits in a leopard-styled chair, her hair pulled into a long braid and wrapped around her head. Unlike her fellow members, though, Sunhwa doesn’t display her chest, rather wrapping her arms around her chest and showing off her arm instead.

SECRET will drop their 3rd mini-album on September 13th, but fans should expect more teasers in the coming days.

Secret will release a sexy teaser for “Poison”

Secret recently released a jacket photo and announced that they will release a teaser video for their title song “Poison” at midnight on September 7. 

The group’s agency, TS Entertainment, released individual pictorials for group members prior to their EP release. On September 6, the agency released a group picture and said that they will release a teaser video through YouTube.

Secret members drew a lot of attention by showing off their sexy mature looks through their individual pictorials. The four members dressed up in red retro style costumes, which were popular in 1940. Their beautiful clavicles and legs made many people look forward to seeing the teaser video.

A spokesperson for the agency says that the one minute teaser video for “Poison” portrays Secret members as sexy ladies rather than cute girls to capture male fans’ hearts.

Secret has become a national girl group by releasing hit songs, including, “Magic,” “Madonna,” “Shy Boy,” “Starlight Moonlight,” and “Love Is Move.” The new title song “Poison” is also composed by Kang Ji Won and Kim Ki Beom to become the sixth hit song.

Secret’s third EP will be released on and offline on September 13.

SECRET’s Ji Eun’s teaser for ‘Poison’ revealed

TS Entertainment’s girl group SECRET has released the next individual image teaser for upcoming release Poison, featuring main vocalist Song Ji Eun.

Ji Eun’s teaser is similar to Hyosung’s teaser, which was released the day before, as Ji Eun sports a similar red dress and short hairstyle that Hyosung was sporting. However, in this teaser, Ji Eun is either looking into the mirror or directly to the camera as fans can see Hyosung talking to either Sunhwa or Zinger.

Poison‘s concept is said to be based on a 1940s British ‘lady and espionage’ look, giving off a classier and sexier vibe. The mini-album will be released on September 13th.

Super Junior, Big Bang, and Secret rank in the top ten of the Oricon Chart

Many K-pop singers recently ranked in the top ten of the Oricon Chart.

According to the Oricon Chart issued on August 21, Super Junior, Boyfriend, 4Minute, Big Bang, and Secret ranked in the top ten of the Oricon Daily Single, Daily Album, and DVD charts.

Super Junior ranked second on the Oricon Daily Single Chart with “Sexy, Free & Single.” They have held a concert in Japan once but never done any promotions on TV.

Boyfriend, who just debuted early this year with a large-scale showcase, ranked fourth on the Oricon Daily Single Chart with “Be My Shine.” It’s a great achievement for a new singing group.

4Minute ranked 18th on the Oricon Daily Single Chart with their new single, “Love Tension,” composed by the hit song maker Kim Do Hoon.

Secret ranked in the top ten of the Oricon Daily Album Chart. They ranked sixth on the chart with their new album, Welcome to Secret Time.

Big Bang ranked in the top ten of the Oricon DVD Chart. They topped the chart with a collection DVD of their new EP, “Alive.” Currently on a world tour, Big Bang will release a new song in Japan in two years on September 19.

Several K-pop singers proved their popularity in Japan by ranking in the top ten of the Oricon Chart.

Pictures of Secret’s Jeon Hyo Seong showing off her voluptuous figure were recently released.

On June 13, pictures of Secret members shooting a commercial for a water park were posted on the group’s official Facebook account.

In the pictures, Jeon is wearing a blue tank top and smiling while sitting on a beach chair. Other members of the group also showed off their wonderful figures and drew a lot of attention.

Secret was recently selected as a representative for a water park and the members tried to lose weight before they shot the commercial.

People who saw the pictures responded: “They have the best figures.” “I think they have the best figures among idols.” “Jeon is always beautiful.”

SECRET’s “Twinkle Twinkle” PV released

SECRET has released the PV for their newest Japanese single “Twinkle Twinkle“.

“Twinkle Twinkle” is reported to be the ending theme song for ‘Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden‘, a gag spin-off of the popular ’Naruto Shippuden‘ series. The single will go on sale June 13th.

Fit for an anime, “Twinkle Twinkle” features an upbeat J-pop sound, and the PV hops from a more sci-fi to a garden setting with the girls of SECRET wearing adorable outfits for each scene.

K-pop photography exhibition in Thailand

A charity photo exhibition featuring K-pop stars is being held in Bangkok from April 26 until May 20. Featured stars include T-ara, Secret, 4Minute, Nine Muses, FT Island and ZE:A.

The event entitled “Korea Big Star Photo Exhibition” is a free showcase for fans and exhibits the works of photographer Kim Hyo-bum and Issue Daily’s reporter Song Jae-won.
At the exhibit, personal items belonging to the stars will also be sold for charity.
Some of the items to be sold include signed CDs and outfits worn by 4Minute, Nine Muses and ZE:A.

“There is a lot of curiosity among foreign fans about K-pop stars. You will be able to catch glimpses of K-pop stars like never before,” said Kim.

SECRET Time 2012: Behind-the-Scenes!

The pretty ladies of SECRET had their first Japan Tour, Secret Time 2012 last March. The tour is for the promotions of their second Japanese CD single, “So Much For Goodbye”. The tour visited three cities in Japan, namely Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo. The tour was performed in the ZEPP Halls. Secret takes a picture with B.A.P at the beach

A picture of Secret and B.A.P members together in Singapore was recently released and attracted attention. Secret and B.A.P belong to the same agency.

On March 26, TS Entertainment uploaded a picture of Secret and B.A.P members together on its official Facebook and Twitter.

The picture was taken at Sentosa, a popular tourist spot in Singapore. It’s reported that the two groups went to Singapore for their joint fan meeting and took the picture while they were taking a break.

In the picture, Secret and B.A.P members are making V-signs with their fingers with bright smiles on their faces. Dressed in comfortable casual clothes, they seem like enjoying their break. Han Seon Hwa is especially attracting attention as she’s wearing a long beach dress.

Secret and B.A.P went to Singapore on March 22 to have a joint fan meeting, titled Secret & B.A.P 1st Singapore Fan Meeting, and came back to Korea on 24.

Big Bang, SNSD, and IU are all called out for the first FACON

The supersized “fashion concert (FACON),” the K-Collection in Seoul, featuring Korea’s favorite “idol” stars and top fashion models, will raise its curtain on March 11 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in the Olympic Park.
As Korea’s first FACON of a whole new concept, with K-POP stars, models, IT, and fashion show all combined, the 2012 K-Collection in Seoul features some 20 fashion beauty brands, emerging designers and SOHO brands, and about 100 super models.
Among the top K-Pop stars, SNSD, Big Bang, IU, MABLQ, Infinite, T-ara, Miss A, Secret, and Nine Musicians will attend the event, giving fantastic performances and walking down the runway along with top models.
This FACON event was designed to encourage Korea’s small and medium-sized fashion brands that have lost their footing in the market because of the aggressive advance of big foreign brands and designer labels.
As well as the existing brands, up-and-coming designers (TOE, V-COMPANY, 2PLACEBO, B-ZUAN) will get some support for breaking into the market through presentations about their innovative design sense. To early adopters of fashion, it will be a great channel for quenching their thirst for something new.
A special exhibit called Smart Life will be set up at the venue to give visitors a futuristic experience of searching for and purchasing fashion content via smartphones.

SECRET hold their first exclusive concert in Japan

SECRET are holding their first exclusive concert in Japan.

SECRET are planning to meet their Japanese fans through a national tour in Japan, called Secret 1st Japan Tour-SECRET TIME. It will be held in Osaka on March 5, Nagoya on March 7, and Tokyo on March 8.

Releasing the Japanese version of Madonna last August, SECRET ranked ninth on the Oricon Daily Chart and received attention as a Korean girl group that will succeed SNSD and KARA.

As they’ve become popular in Japan, SECRET gained an opportunity to hold their first exclusive concert at places where Rain, CN Blue, and FT Island held their concerts.

In this concert, SECRET are planning to perform their hit songs, such as “Madonna,” “Magic,” “Shy Boy,” “Starlight Moonlight,” and “Love Is Move,” including Japanese songs and individual performances.

SECRET are currently having promotional events for their single album Korekuraino Sayonara (これくらいのサヨナラ), released in Japan on February 29.

A heated debate on rankings of K-Pop girl groups for fun is going on

Rankings of girl groups with their popularity for fun is causing a sensation online.

Recently, a post was posted online with the title, “Ranking of Girl Group for Fun.”

Published on February, 2012, the chart shows ranking of K-Pop girl groups active in domestic or overseas market.

SNSD, which tops the chart, is currently active throughout the world. The person who posted the chart, placed 2NE1 in the second.

Next, T-ara ranks the third, Wonder Girls the fourth, Kara the fifth. Wonder Girl, which is active in the States, is placed slightly below T-ara.

The five girl groups are followed by f(X), miss A, Brown Eyed Grils, Sistar, Secret, 4MINUTE, After School, A-Pink, Girls Day, Rainbow, and Dalshabet.

Netizens showed a mixed response: some approve of the rankings on the chart, while other strongly disapprove of it. A heated debate about the issue is going on.
