Big Bang once again does it! All tickets sold out in Hong Kong!



Big Bang showed off their popularity across the globe.
On September 26, according to a Chinese Media, Morning Post, 35,000 tickets of Big Bang’s solo concert, which is to be held on December 8 in Hong Kong, were sold out in less than one hour.
The media reveals, “Big Bang’s tickets were sold out at an unbelievable speed. We decided to have another concert, but the ticketing of that concert sold out as fast as the previous one.”
Therefore, Big Bang’s concert are sold out once again after their ticketing in the U.S. They are showing how popular and how strong their brand power is because they have not done a single promotion in those countries.
The ticketing of Big Bang’s world tour, Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012 that was held at California and New Jersey on September 22, was also sold out in less than two hours.
Big Bang is preparing for the concert at California’s Honda Center on September 3, and at New Jersey Prudential Center on September 9, which are popular stages for world-renowned pop stars.
Besides the U.S and Hong Kong, Big Bang’s tickets have all been sold out in Korea, Japan(5 cities), China(3 cities), Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, and Malaysia. Most of those countries have had 10,000 seats, and it was Big Bang’s first visit to their countries.
Big Bang’s world tour that has been hosted by the world-renowned performing company, Live Nation, received positive reviews with their fancy videos and high quality live performances.
Starting from September 28 at Singapore, Big Bang will be heading on a world tour until December.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon will hold a live concert on the Internet



Big Bang’s G-Dragon will hold a live concert for his new solo album.
On September 25 at 10:00 p.m., G-Dragon will perform live on Naver Music.
This is the second part of the event GD Countdown Live. Under the title of GD Friends Live, G-Dragon will sing “Missing You” and “Today” live.
G-Dragon will perform “Missing You” with the composer Lydia instead of Kim Yoon Ah, who was featured in the song. Lydia is a popular composer who has worked with many YG Entertainment artists.
He will sing “Today” alone without Nell’s vocalist Kim Jong Wan.
G-Dragon will also communicate with his fans on me2day and talk about the inside story of his new album.

All tickets for Big Bang’s concerts in the U.S. are sold out



All tickets for Big Bang’s concert in the U.S. have been sold out.
On September 22 (local time), all 24,000 tickets for Big Bang’s concerts in California and New Jersey were sold out in only two hours.
Big Bang will hold concerts on November 3 at the Honda Center in California and on November 9 at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. Both are very famous concert halls where many world-renowned singers hold their concerts. Each concert hall can accommodate 12,000 people.
Many Korean artists have held concerts in the U.S., but Big Bang are the first Korean singing group to hold a concert at a hall that can accommodate more than 10,000 people. Big Bang have never promoted themselves in the U.S., so it’s even more surprising that all tickets for the concerts have been sold out.
All 30,000 tickets for their concert in Hong Kong, which will be held on December 8 and 9 at the Asia Expo, have also been quickly sold out.
YG Entertainment, Big Bang’s agency, says, “We’re thinking of holding more concerts in the U.S. and Hong Kong because many people there are enthusiastically responding to Big Bang’s concerts.”
In addition to the U.S. and Hong Kong, Big Bang have also sold all tickets for their concerts in Korea, Japan (five cities), China (three cities), Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
Big Bang are visiting most of the countries for the first time, and they’re trying to attract a total audience of 10,000 and more in most of the countries.
Going on the world tour in collaboration of the world-famous agency Live Nation, Big Bang recently received many favorable reviews for their first concert in Seoul. They have also successfully held tours of Japan and China.
Big Bang will continue their world tour until December, and their next concert will be held on September 28 in Singapore.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon appears in gold from head to toe: “I’m the real Fashion King



Recently, the unique gold fashion of Big Bang’s G-Dragon has drawn people’s attention.
In the afternoon on September 20, the star appeared at the launching party of “My Boon, Ambush X G-Dragon Collaboration” at the My Boon, in Cheondam-dong, Seoul.
He showed up in a flood of flashlights wearing a glossy, golden outfit from head to toe. His unusual hairstyle, that soared in the air, dyed in blue and pink, also attracted attention.
The fashion icon Milan Vukmirovic also participated in the opening of the lifestyle store My Boon, and products made in a collaboration between the accessary brand Ambush (created by the famous hip hop group M-flo’s rapper and his wife) and G-Dragon will be launched at the store.
The Ambush X G-Dragon product has gained attention as M-flo’s rapper Verbal created it with G-Dragon. It became an even bigger issue when G-Dragon appeared in the music video for his new title song “Crayon” wearing it.
The special edition that resulted from Ambush and G-Dragon’s collaboration will be displayed and put on sale exclusively at the My Boon store, which opened in July.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon says, “The sexy back in the music video is not mine”



Big Bang’s G-Dragon recently revealed a secret about the music video of his new song, “Crayon.”
In the episode of KBS 2FM’s Yoo In Na’s Raise the Volume (89.1 MHz), which aired on September 19, G-Dragon made a guest appearance. It was the first guest appearance he made as a solo singer in three years.
In the episode, G-Dragon talked about his new album released after a three-year absence. He also talked about a behind-the-scenes story about the music video of “Crayon,” in which he appeared, dressing up like a girl.
G-Dragon said, “I was going to shoot my back, but my back didn’t look good in a girl’s dress. The sexy back in the music video is actually not mine.”
He also got laughs saying, “The face is mine, but the body is not.”
G-Dragon released a new EP, “One of a Kind,” on September 15 and performed the song for the first time on September 16 on SBS TV’s Inkigayo.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon says, “I don’t know about love yet”



Big Bang’s G-Dragon recently made a guest appearance on a radio show and talked about love.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon has made his solo comeback for the first time in over three years. As he always surprises his fans with his unconventional fashion style, he appeared on SBS’s Inkigayo after dying his hair pink and blue. He will show off his different looks through his new songs “One of a Kind,” “That XX,” and “Crayon.”
◇ Free-spirited “One of a Kind”
The song “One of a Kind,” which is written by G-Dragon, drew a lot of attention with its honest lyrics even before the EP release. It includes strong hip-hop beats and the music video for the song features hip-hop warrior G-Dragon. He is wearing black clothes with bold accessories and a reggae permed blond hair, which complements the free-spirited G-Dragon.

The r-rated song “That XX” received considerable attention among the public. In the music video for the song, G-Dragon portrays two different men: a man who lost his girl and the one who took the girl away. G-Dragon did a good job portraying the sad man in a white shirt and jacket.

Model Kubo Anna kisses Big Bang’s Seungri?



Japanese model Kubo Anna is attracting attention after kissing Big Bang’s Seungri on the cheeks.
On September 18, Chinese media uploaded pictures of them with the caption, “Big Bang’s Seungri looks like a couple with the Japanese model Kubo Anna who is shooting a series together. They held hands and kissed each other on the cheeks.”
Kubo Anna was known as the former girlfriend of Jackie Chan’s son, Jaycee Fong. She is the center of attention because of her voluptuous body and pretty appearance.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon releases a new song



Big Bang’s G-Dragon will release a new song.
On September 18, a spokesperson for G-Dragon reported, “G-Dragon’s new song, ‘Light It Up,’ will be included in his new EP, ‘One Of A Kind,’ which will be released offline on September 18. It’s specially included in the album as a bonus track.”
This song is a special song, which will only be included in G-Dragon’s offline EP. It’s a hip-hop song with hard-hitting lyrics, written by G-Dragon.
G-Dragon has classified this song as a bonus track. Tablo and rapper Gonzo were featured in the song as rappers.
G-Dragon introduced the song as, “a song that will make you excited. It can be a message to a specific person or something that you want to tell the world. It’s like a spell. I think my songs reflect my life.”
G-Dragon recently shot an episode of MBC TV’s Infinite Challenge. The episode will air for two weeks from September 29.
G-Dragon’s offline EP contains a total of seven songs, including “One Of A Kind,” “That XX,” “Eventually,” “Missing You,” and “Light It Up.”
The lead track is “Crayon.” It’s a compound word of “Crazy” and “Jiyoung (G-Dragon’s real name),” which means “Crazy On” and “Jiyoung who is crazy about music.” Under the concept of Let’s Go Crazy Together, his new songs are even more intense than the previous ones.
G-Dragon performed his new songs for the first time on SBS TV’s Inkigayo on September 16. Showing off an intelligent, chic look in a preview video, which announced his comeback, in the September 9 episode, he performed “Crayon” and “One Of A Kind” in the September 16 episode.
G-Dragon released his first solo album, Heartbreaker, in mid-August, 2009. The album was one of the best-selling albums in Korea.

G-Dragon Releases ‘Crayon’ MV



With the release of his comeback mini-album ‘One of a Kind’ and dominating music charts with an all-kill, Big Bang leader G-Dragon is back to to top search engines. WIth the excitement still high from his comeback stage on Inkigayo, G-Dragon has released yet another music video, this time for ‘Crayon’.
‘Crayon’ has a fast upbeat tune, with the catchphrase ‘Catch your crayon, crayon’.Just like its name, the video is full of colour as G-Dragon sports a duo-toned pastel hair color. The video starts off with G-Dragon on the bed donning on a Wonder Woman robe, thereafter the television is switched on revealing different personas of him. He behaves to be obssessed and crazed on something.

Proving his eccentric one-of-a-kind concept, G-Dragon even dressed up as a female in a tight mini-dress.
YG Entertainment explained that ‘Crayon’ is short for ‘Crazy On’ which is a phrase derived from the combination of‘Crazy’ + ‘G-Dragon’. Thus far, he has released music videos for ‘One of a Kind’ and ‘That XX’ off his latest mini-album.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon dresses up like a girl in the music video of “Crayon”



Big Bang’s G-Dragon recently released a music video of “Crayon.” In this music video, he appears dressing up like a girl.
In the music video of “Crayon,” which was released on September 17 at midnight, G-Dragon portrays various characters, including a doctor, a drummer, Pinocchio, and a girl.
Dressing up like a girl with long straight blond hair, G-Dragon is staring at the camera with a provocative look in his eyes.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon sweeps all the charts with his new EP



To the return of G-Dragon of the male “idol” group Big Bang (composed of G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Seungri, and Daesung), major music charts responded with big shifts in the top ten rankings.

Most of the top ten songs of the Olleh Music belong to G-Dragon. “Missing You” led he rankings, followed by “Crayon,” “Eventually,” “Today,” and “One of a Kind.”

Big Bang’s G-Dragon picked as the most Gangnam-styled man



Big Bang’s G-Dragon is a real Gangnam-styled man.
Music Site, Monkey 3 started a survey on August 23 that ran until 29 asking, “Who is the most Gangnam-styled man among stars?” G-Dragon, who is drawing a lot of attention with his song “That XX” ranked first with a score of 18 percent (63 of 348 votes).
Those who chose him as a real Gangnam-styled man commented, “Since Gangnam style stems from a stylish fashion, fashionista G-Dragon is the best.” “I think G-Dragon works hard and plays hard too.”

YG is psychic: “Big Bang’s Seungri will make a mistake”



Yang Hyun Suk, president of YG Entertainment, is drawing a lot of attention with his previous remarks regarding Big Bang’s Seungri, who was recently involved in a sex scandal with a Japanese woman.
Seungri appeared on SBS’s Strong Heart in March and said, “The president called me few days ago. He asked me if I know what have I done wrong. I thought carefully and said I don’t know.”

Big Bang’s G-Dragon releases a preview for “Light It Up”



Big Bang’s G-Dragon recently released a preview for his new song “Light It Up.”
The song is drawing a lot of attention by featuring Tablo of Epik High and rapper Dok2 in. It is included in G-Dragon’s new EP as a bonus hip-hop track. In the preview video, which was released on September 13, G-Dragon introduces the song and talks about Tablo and Dok2.
G-Dragon says, “I worked with Tablo and Dok2 to make the song. The lyrics for the song make me feel good because they describe what I was thinking but couldn’t say.”
“I have been listening to Tablo’s music since he started performing with his group members and I think I can learn a lot from him about writing lyrics. He is very nice and kind but when he raps, I can tell that he has a lot of experience.”
“I’ve known Dok2 for a long time but he is like an older brother when it comes to rap.”

Big Bang’s Seungri is involved in a Japanese scandal



Big Bang’s Seungri was recently involved in a scandal in Japan.
On September 13, Japanese weekly Friday released a picture of Seungri sleeping naked in his bed. The media outlet also reported that a girl said that she spent the night with him.
After the report, the scanned picture of the news about Seungri was uploaded online in Japan. Then it spread through private blogs and Twitter accounts and through several online communities in Korea as well.
Seungri is currently performing as a soloist in Japan after the group completing their Japanese tour in June. He is appearing on several entertainment programs and was also cast in Nippon Television’s special TV series Kindaichi-Hong Kong.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon introduces his new song “Missing You”



Big Bang’s G-Dragon recently introduced his new song prior to his EP release.
On September 12, G-Dragon released a part of his new song “Missing You” through several music sites, including Naver, and the official blog YG Life from his agency, YG Entertainment.
In the video, which was released, G-Dragon says, “The song is about a man missing his girl after he broke up with her. I think the song will be a very familiar love song to the public. It includes easy melodies and sounds like an older pop song.”
He added, “I added various sounds, including whistles, to make the song sound warm.”
“I made the song while thinking about lonely feelings after breaking up with someone, who was always by my side. The song reminds me of Kim Yoon Ah singing at a jazz bar, so I asked her to be featured in the song.”
“When she asked me why I chose her, it was hard to explain, because I was so nervous. I think she inspired me in a short time.”
G-Dragon will hold the ‘GD Countdown Live’ event through Naver Music. He will release his song “One of a Kind” on September 15 at midnight and will have a great time with his fans through the live broadcast.
G-Dragon will appear on the September 16 episode of SBS’s Inkigayo to perform his new song.

BIG BANG’s G-Dragon releases the MV for ‘That XX’


After returning with One of a Kind, BIG BANG’s G-Dragon has now released a new single and MV titled That XX.
Earlier this week, G-Dragon gave fans the heads-up by posing a teaser image through his Twitter, then followed that up with a warning that the song and MV would not be suitable for those under the age of 19, re-releasing his image teaser with the new R-19 sign. That hasn’t deterred fans from watching the song and MV, which was released at midnight on September 1st.
