Beast holds second official fan meeting

On April 22, boy band Beast held its second-ever fan meeting for members of its official fan club B2UTY.

The event, which took place at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in eastern Seoul, was the first since the inauguration ceremony event a year ago at Korea University.

More than 5,000 fans flocked to the event which consisted of various segments. The boy band members separated into three teams in order to interact with fan club members. Presents were given out and members took to the stage to showcase their individual talents.

Comedienne Kim Shin-young also appeared on stage to add a vibrant mood to the event.

The band launched its world tour, “Beautiful Show,” back in February and is currently performing overseas.

Despite their hectic schedule, the boy band is looking to release a new album for Korean fans in the coming months.

Kim Hyun Joong takes up the challenge to high-five all 3,000 members in the audience, aiming to break the record for any artiste performing in Singapore

Kim Hyun Joong has taken the challenge to high-five all 3,000 members in the audience at the Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012 in Singapore on 4 May 2012, aiming to break the record by any artiste performing in Singapore so far to offer the closest fan interaction for audiences during a concert. Previously only open to 500 lucky fans in the audience, Kim Hyun Joong has now personally requested to high-five all concert attendees at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, a feat never undertaken before at any concert or fan meeting.

Kim Hyun Joong will also give away one set of T-shirt and brooch of his own design, encompassing the U:ZOOSIN character, a cartoon avatar created by Kim Hyun Joong himself to everyone in the audience. This will be specially made for this fan meeting tour. Kim Hyun Joong’s official animated character U:ZOOSIN has sold 50,000 units in Korea alone, boasting approximately US$1,900,000 in sales.

“This is a very special request we’ve received, which proves Kim Hyun Joong’s immense devotion to his fans. We are glad that fans in Singapore will get a very personal touch – pun intended – with Kim Hyun Joong; but we’re also excited that all members in the audience will be part of a record-breaking moment,” says Wendy Ng, Executive Producer of Running Into The Sun.

High-five sessions are normally small, private sessions that are open to a small group of fans to interact with artistes before or after a concert. However, Kim Hyun Joong will be taking this a step further by expressing his wish to high-five every single member of the audience, breaking away from the notion that superstars of his calibre are often put on a pedestal.

Kim Hyun Joong 2012 Asia Fan Meeting in Singapore will showcase over 10 songs, slick dance moves, special effects and interactive segments in a two-hour show. Premiere seats, the seats closed to the stage have completely sold out, but fans can rest assure that good seats are still available across the Arena and Terrace categories.

TVXQ to hold a fan meet for 100,000 Japanese fans

From June 30 to July 1, TVXQ will hold a fan meeting which will cater to more than 100,000 Japanese fans over eight sessions. The official TVXQ fan meeting for fan club members will be held in Saitama and Kobe and is set to be the biggest-ever fan meeting held by any artist in Japan.

Meanwhile, the Korean boy band has been busy performing its “TVXQ Live Tour 2012-Tone” from April 14 to April 16 at the Tokyo Dome.
More than 165,000 fans attended the concerts and on the last day of the tour, the band made the announcement about the upcoming fan meeting much to the delight of fans.

The fact that the band performed at the Tokyo Dome was also a feat considering that other artists to have performed for three consecutive days at the famed hall were international acts like Michael Jackson and Backstreet Boys.

Ticketing details for Kim Hyun Joong’s First Mini Concert in Singapore

he ticket details for the fanmeet was released by concert organiser for the first-ever “Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012” which will be held 4 May 2012 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

It was revealed that this will be the first-ever fan meeting with a plump programme more akin to a mini concert. There will be a limited number of 3000 tickets for sale with less than 500 premiere seats and no more than 900 arena seats. Fans can look forward to spectacular laser shows, sprawling LED screen, over 10 hit songs from his solo albums and cozy takl show segments. Moreover, lucky fans will be able go on stage and interact with Kim Hyun Joong!

Ticket sales begin 18 April at 10am with a two-day priority booking period for UOB One and UOB Debit Card Cardmembers. Public Sales begin 20 April at 10am, you can purchase using both online and offline methods – via SISTIC online, phone and counter bookings. Tickets are priced at $138 (balcony), $168 (terrace) and $198 (arena & premiere seats).
