On May 3, the group’s agency, JYP Entertainment, said, “2PM will release their single Beautiful on June 6 in Japan. They will hold an album promotion as well.”
The title song “Beautiful” from their new single is pre-released through a TV commercial for a vinegar brand and loved by many people. The song has ranked first on the Recochoku chart on April 17 prior to its album release.
The single album includes a song that is written by Jun Ho, which made fans from Japan and Korea eagerly anticipate the album.
2PM is keeping busy as a prospective new group receiving the New Artist of the Year at the ’2012 Japan Golden Disk Awards.’ They appear on NHK’s Korean lecture program, a TV commercial, and Tokyo MX’s program. The movie Ouran High School Host Club, in which Nickhun appeared, is also very popular.
2PM will hold a concert at Budokan in Tokyo, Japan, and will invite 90,000 people at the end of this month.
